Great for longer stay

A good choice if you’re staying a week or more. Easy access to downtown or elsewhere by car. Small apartment with kitchen stocked with all the essential equipment (dishes, flatware, pans, etc. ). Bedding is comfortable, but a bit firm. Nice couch and TV. New rug. Great breakfast. Very clean throughout. I could do with fewer artificial flowers in apartment and fewer, larger, better paintings in halls, but that’s minor and a matter of personal taste. Highlands coffee shop and bun cha nearby. We didn’t find much in the immediate area, so stop at Big C or a minimart for groceries.

If so, this is not the place, at least for the next few months. They are replacing the elevator. Noisy, dusty, even smokey at times. They promise no work on weekends, but work continued all-day today. (Sunday 25th August 2019)
Need to fix aircon

+ Very spacious, well equipped. Decently designed. Good Water pressure. Nice and polite staff. - Aircon system super outdated and may not work. We didn’t get any sleep because of this. I didn’t check out the pool or other facilities but it looks nice. Location also not so bad, with Highlands coffee right outside.

The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in was spacious with a full kitchen as well. From the moment we arrived they took great care of us. Always ready with a smile they helped us with directions, answered all questions, warned us of need to be careful with our belongings on the street!! It was like staying with family!!

Hanoi is a beast of a city. It can be intimidating with it’s chaotic traffic and tiny old streets. This place at the edge of the old quarter is a hidden gem among all the hustling and bustling of the city. Well located since it’s on top of the American Embassy and walking distance from other consulates, it’s a residential hotel if you must call it. Expats families mingle with casual tourists in the elevators as they go on with their day. The Staff at the Rose is attentive and courteous, going the extra mile to make sure your stay is comfortable and safe. Almost as if my Mom worked here! They made sure we didn’t get into “trouble” as we wanted to see the train at night in an “sketchy” part of town we didn’t know. The views were awesome and the pool and amenities top class. Breakfast buffet (Free!) is the best.
