Amazing host

Reviewed 24 november, 2019

I stayed there in September with my friend. The owner was so lovely. It was my birthday and he surprised me and my best friend with a lovely dinner + cake. The owner is kind and genuine. He also runs his own tour from Merzouga to Marrakech with amazing stops in between. The hotel and food was absolutely lovely. 10/10 location. The first night we arrived, he took us on a walk to see the stars. The hospitality and graciousness is beyond belief! I can’t wait to be back!

A fantastic family experience! Completely unforgettable!!! I trully recommend to contact Lahcen Seggaoui the most honest and helpful tourist guide on Earth!! He will take you in his van on a tour of 4 or 5 days with visits in touristic relevant spots, hotels and meals included, a ride on camels and comfortable camping in the Sahara, tea and dinner seeved under the stars, meet nomadic people and visit a true oasis in the good company of Barak. Unforgettable!!! A worthy life experience!!!

Romantic location and friendly stuff

Very nice atmosphere and extremely friendly staff! We felt very good there, too bad we couldn't have stayed longer. The property is ideally located, so we could have our first walk to the dunes on the evening of our arrival. The staff is very helpful and flexible, so don't hesitate to tell them what you need!

Real scammers if you end up at the wrong time

During a bicycle tour of Morocco with my girlfriend we arrived around 22:30 in Hassi Labied, looking for a camping. We did not know that the other camping had an open door to the side so we went to this one. We were greeted by someone who seemed like a night watchman. We asked about accommodation for our tent. The man spoke to someone who seemed like an owner and said we could stay in the yard, asking 60DH for two people and a tent, which is allot by Moroccan standards. We decided to stay because it was our first time there and were very tired from cycling all day with a strong headwind. We had no water and no shower access, the only facility was having our bikes locked away for the night. No one said goodbye in the morning when we left. We got the sense that they were only interested in money. Now I would just camp out in the dessert with the tent rather than stay there.

Wonderful, non-commercial kasbah run by very nice and honest family.

We met ibrahim in ouarzazate. he told us about his kasbah and camel rides into the desert. We immediately liked ibrahim. He was telling about merzouga without being pushy, but just with a lot of enthusiasm and passion. Ibrahim supports his brother and sister with running the kasbah. It is a real family business and you are also treated as family. I did a camel tour but my friend freaked out halfway. They picked her from the dessert, made a wonderful meal for her and gave her the feeling it was worth being there without going into the desert.
