Only for those who want to snooze all day and night. Boring!

We asked for a first floor unit upon booking. A staff member called us a few weeks before our visit and we again asked for a first floor unit. I have orthopedic knee problems and my husband has COPD. Of course, we were given a second floor unit with steep stairs that were difficult for us to use. On top of that, our unit was next to a restaurant (resort looks like townhouses but with units up and down that are adjacent to each other; some have business below or adjacent to them) so we had to compete with restaurant patrons for parking. The units themselves are very nicely appointed, but I would not recommend coming to this resort to anyone and we will not return. It is too far from any activities. Wi-FI is unreliable. The game room is nice but you have to pay for the pool and air hockey. And pay to rent DVDs. We like hiking and fishing but it is a 30 min drive either direction to these activities. So there is nothing much to do. This is a Wyndham World Mark resort. We are Wyndham timeshare owners and still had to pay for activities.
Very pleasant stay here

Quite frankly, there is not a great deal to do in Overgaard Arizona. You can check the things to do list at Tripadvisor. However, regardless of the surroundings, this is a very good Worldmark facility. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff are uniformly courteous and pleasant. And the outdoor pools are well-maintained. The grounds are also well-maintained. There is also a games room with Jenga and table tennis available. It is necessary to park away from most of the hotel rooms but there are fire lanes where you can temporarily park and drop off or pick up your luggage.
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay here.
Nice Oasis in White Mountains

We were wanting a nice, quiet getaway to celebrate both a birthday and a promotion. On a previous drive, we had seen this resort and were struck by how charming and quaint it looked. About a month later, we booked a room to experience some much-needed rest and relaxation. Every detail, from the moment we checked in, to the time we checked out, was attended to. The room/condo was beautifully appointed and spacious. We loved the features of a fully-appointed kitchen, two full bathrooms, and both front and back balconies, looking out over the property. Parking was ample and free. The front desk staff made us feel welcome and celebrated by giving us thoughtful gifts to acknowledge our special occasions, complete with cards, signed by the entire staff. The grounds were immaculate, with lots of open green spaces, a pool and hot-tub, hiking trails, and a fire pit, to name a few. We loved our stay so much that we almost immediately booked an encore visit and will be returning in two weeks to further explore this little gem.
Outstanding Condo Resort

This place is a hidden jewel tucked up in the mountains east of Phoenix! After some research we decided to try it out for a 4 night getaway from the Phoenix heatwave and we were not disappointed. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo was awesome! It also had a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, with a fireplace cable tv, DVD player and 2 decks. On one of the decks there is a gas BBQ, which came in handy. Great pools, nice grounds with a lake and a restaurant/bar on property. The staff was extremely professional and friendly. Even in spite of the pandemic, it allowed us to put that in the back of our minds and relax. Definitely going back, sooner than later!!
A Great Place to Get Away from the City for Old-Time Fun and Relaxation

My family and I stayed her at the end of June of 2016 (not 2020...they did not have that as an option) in a very spacious and clean 2 bedroom unit with an awesome balcony above the stores across from the small pond. I am writing this review now because every year when planning for a vacation, I want to go back. For me, it was just ideal. There were two ponds to take my boys fishing (catch and release only and you can borrow fishing gear), swimming pool, hot tub, game room, family activities (e.g., Bingo), movies, etc. There is a horseback riding facility just next door where you can pay to do guided trail rides. Our whole family went once and one of my boys went a second time on a different day. One of my boys (10 years-old) just loved the horses so much that they let him spend time there feeding, looking at and talking to the horses. The resort is located in a VERY small town and the people running the resort and activities were very sweet, kind and accommodating. They were from the local town. It was not too hot or cool. We try not to go to the same place twice, but I think we will be going there again, especially since my youngest son was only 4 at the time and does not remember it. I have tried to make every vacation we have gone on since as good or better than here, and honestly, I just have not gotten that same feeling anywhere else and we travel a few times of year in and outside of the U.S.
By the way, there are no Bison there any longer.
