We've stayed in a lot of Marriott properties this year. Covid has played a major role with staffing impacting restaurants, room cleaning, and bar's. Staffing issues certainly impacts one's perception of their experience.
The Westin seemed to have ample staffing for all sides of the hotel operation. No valet parking available, but all other services were open and running as one would expect. Nice location, good views, very nice pools, and people were great. Comfortable room and quiet.
All quest were required to wear masks regardless of vaccinations. We found this when visiting restaurants, and casino's outside the hotel as well.
We had a very nice time.

Juana made our check in experience smooth and was very accommodating to a few special requests we had for a 50th birthday celebration! It’s so refreshing to deal with someone who genuinely cares about a guest experience and has such a a pleasant demeanor. When a vacation starts off with that standard it sets the time for the entire stay. Overall I couldn’t be happier with with the staff and establishment. Thank you Juana, John at the Arabesque bar and anyone else we encountered.
Away from the craziness of the Strip!

We have stayed here twice and have enjoyed it both times. It is a beautiful and well maintained resort with lots of amenities. I really appreciate the fact that is a non-gaming facility. If you want to gamble it is not far from the Henderson casinos or the Strip itself.
We have eaten at Rick's (where we once had an excellent Thanksgiving dinner) and the SandsaBar at the pools. I am now addicted to virgin Pina Colada smoothies. The Marrakesh Express is good for your Starbucks or a quick sandwich.
Hoover Dam (a must if you have not seen it) is not far away and is always an impressive sight.
Staff has always been polite and helpful. I have no problem recommending the Westin.

Avoid at any cost!
Limited for 4 towels for you stay , no electric kettle (if you have baby forget about hot water for their formula ), dirty bed sheets (see photos), food at the pool is not for human consumption, no valet and many more things that I discovered only at check in. Asked for a manager and guess what?? No manage on duty! Ridiculous￼- I am going to dispute this charge with all the photos I have with my AMEX

The exterior is the most impressive thing about this hotel. Once you get inside and past the lobby area, you’ll find that the rooms, elevator, and hallways are outdated and not clean. I could live with the outdated part, but cleanliness is a must, particularly in today’s world. The carpet was stained, both of our rooms had a general musty/old smoke odor, and the pillowcases were discolored to the point that they looked yellow next to the sheets. I expected a Westin feel and environment and was completely underwhelmed. I’d suggest looking elsewhere in Henderson, especially at this price point.
