More about the hotel
SpringHill Suites Mosley Road
Pros: Very pleasant employees. Near the airport. Good breakfast. Gloria, the breakfast attendant, extremely pleasant and attentive to everything. She keeps the area tidy. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Cons: Management needs to be more attentive. Pool area is seldom cleaned, towels left on chairs, trash containers not empty for days. Used towels left in bin for days. No clean towels available most days. Signs at front desk advising customers to wear mask however several employees with out masks. Entrance needs repairs, an enormous hole at the gate. Cigarette buts and trash through out the grounds. Hope to stay here in the future and see if improvements are made.
Sept 2020
Staff was attentive. Room was comfortable. Everyone met my needs as I needed to be there a month. SCRAMBLED EGG WHITES! Yuck. I tried to tell them that they were tasteless and unappealing but, they insisted every morning providing scrambled egg whites. I would give them a 3 out of 5.
Nightmare
If I could give this Hotel a negative 0 I would. So one of my family members lost his wallet and we kindly asked for it but of course they will not give it back so $500 are gone.Next, don’t get me started with the food they’re was a hair in one drink and we had to get a new joker room because the one we got had bathtub problems.DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY!
Facility needs upgrading but very hospitable staff
Compared to other Marriotts at the same price point this particular Spring Hill Suites is at best average. The staff, however, i super accommodating. We had a very early morning flight to catch and I told the staff about it. The person who worked the night shift prepared bags for me and my wife that were ready by 4:45. The driver of the van that took us to Hobby Airport was very nice and polite One of the things that attracted me to book at this particular place was because the lobby had recently been renovated. Now it is time to spend some serious money on the rooms. Our room was dated. The TV must have been at least 15 years old. Only one side of the bed had outlets. C'mon, in this day and age you can do better than that. The furniture was also dated and the carpet was paper thin. The A/C was a problem during the night. If we had booked for more than one night we would have gone elsewhere once we saw the room. The staff is the only thing that saved this Spring Hill Suites from a rating of 2.
Three Strikes - I’m Out
I know this area and wanted to stay by Airport in new or renovated property. SH fits that. I had two rooms but booked at different times so different rates. At checkin I asked if she could make the rates the same and she agreed to do so. Strike 1 not changed. Upon extending for another night, I asked for the change again for both nights. Agreed to do so. At check out the rates had not been adjusted. Strike 2. I returned to the hotel on my way to airport and asked for the change again...Agreed. Checked emailed receipt and you guessed it Strike 3. Really disappointing
