Room was OK but not very private. Front door is all glass (sliding) and curtains need to be kept closed for any privacy at all. Room was OK and bathroom was pretty big but no door on toilet which is not very nice. Sunday breakfast was pretty good with buffet and an egg station, salads, cereals etc'. Monday and buffet was gone and had to order off the limited menu. We ordered and waited 25 mins and decided to leave hungry. Life is just too short to be wasting it like this. There were some fruit and salad out, but very poor selection and it was not being refreshed. Juice was sweet and cheap and also warm. Breakfast and bar areas are very nice, but we will not be returning - ever.
Sitting at the head of the Hua Hin beach, the Laksasubha resort enjoys the privilege of a great location. It is probably one of the oldest in town, which probably increases it’s charm immensely. The cottage rooms are well kept, complimentary snacks and beverages are on offer and the staff are courteous and very helpful. The two restaurants, overlooking the Gulf of Thailand serve great food. It’s a great place for starting a long beach walk or simply relaxing.
Perfect stay in Hua Hin
A very enjoyable stay in Hua Hin. The location is ideal, being right on the beach. The restaurant, main pool and bar area look directly onto the beach. Breakfast was fantastic, with a good variety of Western and Asian dishes, and a magnificent outlook. The bar was great with decent happy hours and friendly staff. The room was spacious, and while a little dated, was functional, clean and had all required amenities. All staff were professional, welcoming, professional and friendly. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to COVID-19, but hope to return again soon.
Good location but only that
We have booked this hotel by taking in account Tripadvisor and Booking scoring. It seems thta some people do not know about what is high rate hotel. What is good: location in nice garden with direct access to the beach and breakfast on sea side, big rooms in small buildings making overall a good atmosphere. Size of the room with terrace. Nice swimming pool in garden. What is not good: We have paid a lot (180 € including breakfast) for an hotel which is not at the right standard since it is owned and managed locally. - Lobby on parking lot making you horrified when you arrive first time - Bathroom locally made with very hugly tiles and some accessory components broken or not well fixed, shower tap low cost. - Hot drinks at breakfast limited to tea and coffe, all others with extra at around 120 THB. We have claimed for that and the maange refused to discuss with us, we only have got 15% discount showing again the maangement is not professional. - High sheet metal wall along all the location making "unde work atmosphere - The worst is work beside the hotel in the morning (starting 8 AM during 3 days) making your night shorter. Coonstruction is forecasted this year and next year just few meter from your room! - Service at restaurant very long and expensive compare to quality - Of course no one asked at check out if we enjoyed our stay, they just claim for the slippers to be back in the room. - no chair / sunbed on beach on Wednesday !! Conclusion: never again but you can go if you pay less than 100€ which is the maximum value fo rthis hotel.
Great hotel, but,....
We stayed for 6 nights at the end of January/2020. Room was very good (needs some maintenance), staff was great, breakfast very good. We had an issue with the restaurant in the evening. We ate dinner at the hotel four times. 2 of the dinners were very good but two were really poor. The hotel needs to address the quality control of the meals coming out of the restaurant.
