Review from couples perspective

Booked a standard double room and it was awful. Immediately had to ask to change rooms, as the room was tiny, and felt worse than a premier inn or holiday inn unfortunately. We were given a deluxe double room instead but at a charge of 140 euros on top for 3 nights. Noticed the bathroom vent in the deluxe room was mouldy, and also when the temperatures became hotter in the evening the air conditioner was not cooling the room properly so it disturbed our sleep and caused a lot of discomfort negatively affecting the day ahead. For 2 days since landing the toaster was apparently broken in the breakfast area, so would be having eggs for breakfast without proper toast. They could have accommodated guests with alternative toasting via an oven for instance, but no. I complained to customer relations and the young lady who saw to me was VERY GOOD, she listened and provided room upgrade to what they had best on offer at the time. We were then given a room on the 5th floor with a view of the beautiful masjid opposite the hotel, and our window ledge was wide enough for us to sit and enjoy the view. Spa services were also nice, they're separate to the hotel but in the same building. Overall pleasant stay, good location near the Vezneciler metro station 3min walk away so in terms of getting about it was great. Hotel value was certainly not up there, it is overrated and should be slashed half a star.

Good hotel

The room is nice and the bathroom in it is somehow clean if we ignore some black mould on the wall of the shower cabinet. The breakfast is great and their onion rings and fresh orange juice is soo delicious. Unfortunately they refused to give us receipt for the rooms we reserved before leaving, telling us they do not provide that. The hotel price we paid is by person not by room so be aware of that and its quite expensive for rooms with no view. The staff was nice. The sounding area is full of shops where you can by different stuff but the price is for tourists 😃

Be careful

Well the hotel hasn’t been renovated for many years The first time I got a room facing a small interior courtyard, on the second time the room wasn’t “interior “, but the hvac wasn’t working The maintenance appeared and it seems that the problem was a dirty filter!! The rooms are very small and poor The breakfast is on the basement and there are normal services that have additional costs ( ex orange juice) It’s a pity because the location is in the old town near the sight seeing monuments
