Game
Stay here every year for Chiefs Football. Love staying here. Great restaurant and easy access. This is within walking distance to great bars, restaurants. It’s one of my favorite districts in town. Pick up and drop off for games is simple, lots of Chiefs are in the house for sure!
Very Disappointed!!
We've been IHG Premier members for 3 years. We pay an annual fee for this privledge! I can't think of a time we stayed at an IHG property that we weren't provided an upgrade and/or amenities that normally wouldn't be provided to a non member. This was our anniversary and were really looking forward to upgrades we've experienced previously at this location as well as others. On our last visit to this location we were provided with concierge service as well as happy hour and continental breakfast. None of this was offered on this trip! While I thought that this was possibly due to the current pandemic, I found that, after visiting with an employee that this wasn't actually the case and they did offer these services on a few floors above us! I'm sure this appears petty to many, it's something we've come to expect with our Premier membership. Our membership fee is now due and I really don't see why I should continue with it. They did request a review which I completed but with no response after over a week.

Had a horrible check-in room, assignment with another near-by hotel. Had to find another hotel quickly. Crowne Plaza was great. Very kind and professional staff, explained COVID procedures at check in and helped with plastic silverware. Highly recommend!
Do not choose this hotel
I am currently staying at the Crowne Plaza and it is awful. The air conditioning does not work properly in one of the rooms I booked. I told the front desk our first day here and was assured it would be fixed. It was not. Maintenance woke my family up at 11:30 pm to address the problem again and said they would fix it in the morning. We left in the morning came back in the afternoon and the room is still hot. The rooms are dirty. I have numerous pictures showing hand prints on the doors and grime inside the refrigerators. The toilet is not secure and there is a massive hole in the shower curtain. Do not stay in this hotel. Hotel Loews has similar prices and it’s beautiful.
Not as great
I was in the hotel attending a meeting over a few days. First the hotel charged me for overnight car parking, when I didn't have one such. Of course it was refunded during checkout. Next I was double charged for my room. I called them and they sent me a refund receipt. But this is unexpected in a five star hotel, so well known. The view from the top floors is splendid. Rooms are great. Location is excellent.
