very average hotel with under average service and accommodations, rocky beach, no snorkeling, poor quality and service in restaurants, uncomfortable rooms, all around unsatisfactory, first and last time here in this resort

Great service, very helpful folks! Thai food was average though if you’re used to Thai. Would I recommend swinging by for something? Sure. Should this be the final stop on your Palladium dinner tour? Probably not.

Some good, some not so good

Noticeable changes over the 5 trips we've made to the Palladium resorts. Stayed in a Romance Villa beachside, great location but negatively impacted by loud music from weddings on 2 occasions. Staff weren't of help when contacted because they were "private functions". It seemed there was no consideration for guests and their expectation of quiet. We were about 100 meters from the events and the music was so loud that even with my hearing aids out, ear plugs in, the fan and air conditioning running, I wasn't able to eliminate the noise. A special thank you to our housekeeper Jose and Jorges our server at El Dorado for their excellent service.

Not what it once was

We stayed at this resort 5 years ago and it was amazing, unfortunately this is no longer the case! We are currently here in rooms 4413 and 4414 in Kantenah, we arrived to dirty rooms no coffee machine in one room no hairdryer in the other , light hanging off the wall, no bath mat no toilet brush , no bed cover or blanket, in general not good for a supposed 5 star resort! We reported this to guest services on our first day, we were promised a deep clean replacement of missing items etc, this did not happen ! Room 4414 sheets not changed now for 12 days, mini bar not restocked, towels either all taken and no replacement or too many! No maintenance to fix light! No coffee etc Now for the last 2 days we have had no TV it says no signal , after speaking to guest services they were unaware of a problem although there was a queue of people to says they had lost signal also! Day 2 still no TV back to guest services another lady acted totally unaware of a problem across the entire complex with signal ! How can staff not be aware of this and why is this not being sorted as a matter of urgency ? Don't eat the food in Bahia Brasa they are serving really under cooked chicken and pork, we walked out, I can guarantee people will be seriously sick if they eat there! Food across the whole complex except sumturi is only barely warm another health Hazzard! Our last visit the entertainment was great with shows on every night and special promotion nights in each lobby, Gin nights chocolate night etc now Hemmingway bar may as well be shut, no atmosphere no music, bright lights no people , such a shame The positives of the complex are the gorgeous surroundings, amazing wild life and the incredibly hard working staff in the pools , bars and restaurants, I can't say the same for guest services except Alfredo who booked all out restaurants and I can't say good things about the cleaning staff Maria in El Rincincito pool works incredibly hard as does Jediael in Churchills bar, they deserve gold medals, such hardworking lovely staff . The Sunday lady at El Rincincito should learn to smile and follow in Maria's footsteps ! We are sad to not return and hope that in years to come with people leaving honest reviews and staff like Maria and Jediael this place can be great again.

A Great complex gone bad in lots of ways

We have stayed at this resort 5 years ago and have waited to return after covid, Unfortunately we won't return again unless things change drastically! We are staying in rooms 4413 and 4414 the rooms are not very clean the sheets in room 4414 have still not been changed after 12 days and 2 trips to guest relations, the light is hanging off the wall in room 4413 and we have no hairdryer room 4414 had no coffee machine a filthy bath and the cleaners remove towels and don't replace or leave lots in one room and none in another ! Mini bar not re stocked daily anymore, then yesterday the television stopped working due to no signal after 2 trips to guest services they are unaware that the tv signal is apparently down across the complex ! How can something so major not be known by staff ? We have paid for a.5 star holiday and got a 2 star service by guest services and cleaning staff, The last time we stayed there were promotions and shows on across the lobby's this time the Hemingway bar is soleless no music no people no atmosphere at all, Bahia Brasa is serving under cooked chicken and pork which could cause serious food poisoning and needs to be addressed urgently! Across all restaurants and buffets food needs to be hotter or a microwave provided to reheat food at least. The positives of the complex are the gorgous surroundings the amazing wild life and the extremely hard working staff at poop bars a restaurants a special thank you to Jediael at Churchills cocktail bar,and Maria at El Rincincito pool they should be given gold medals for their service, it is them that will have people wanting to return. The Sunday lady at El Rincincito needs to learn how to smile and follow in Maria's foot steps. Sad to think we won't return, hopefully honest opinions and action will make it great again.
