"Good news and not so good news"
1st time here in this city and Sleep Inn. The room and bath were small and I don't know about ALL the rooms here, but the one I was in 216, needs updating! Carpet is separating from the room and the bath and looks very tired and worn, BUT, the bed was comfy and the pillows were too. The room was clean and had extremely bright lighting, which I like. The bugs in the light above the shower need to be cleaned out, BUT, the shower had instant HOT water and the water drained! Another plus of the bathroom (which I wish ALL hotels had) - a separate switch for the light and the fan!!! If you are looking for a place to eat with great food - go to Prissy Polly's Pig Pickin' Barbeque.....food was outstanding.
I can “sleep in”!
Very quiet facility. Although I find all Sleep Inn rooms to be small, especially the washroom (shower and toilet in closet sized room with pocket doors and the sink in the main room). The staff is pleasant, WiFi is good, rooms are clean. My only real complaint is their website said there was laundry facilities and exercise room, there isn’t either of these. Pleasant stay. Would stay again.
Great Nights Stay
The motel is very clean. The room we had was wonderful but the one downside is that it was a little small but that is the usual for Sleep Inn. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had to make a change to the reservation to another type of room and the gentleman on the phone was very helpful and pleasant. The free breakfast is one of the best that I’ve had at any motel chain. The woman working the breakfast room was friendly and if something was needed she was quick to get it refilled. She also made sure tables were cleaned after someone left it.
Horribly nasty
There was a stench when I first entered the lobby. I should have turned around then but was tired and it was too late to cancel my reservation. The carpet I the hallway had both large and small stains all the way to my room on the first floor. The room appeared to be cleaner but after laying in the bed for awhile I felt something strange under the bottom sheet. Turned out to be a plastic toothpick flosser. Not sure but how did they not see this if they actually changed the sheets on the bed. Had difficulty sleeping due to lots of noise in the hall and the room next door. Mistakenly left my phone charger there. Called that afternoon but of course, no one knew anything about my phone charger. Never staying at any Sleep Inns again. I would have gotten a better nights sleep in my car.
OK Stay
Convenient to the Interstate - reasonably priced. Walls were thin and the furnishings need updating, but it was OK for a one-night stay when we were too tired to drive any further. Staff was helpful, Internet service worked fine, plenty of parking, and breakfast was adequate, Nothing terrible about this place, just nothing special about it either. I'd stay here again in a pinch, but if I had time to plan, I'd probably look elsewhere.
