It was ok 👌
After a ten hour flight. We arrived for our first night stay here in Texas. The hotel was easy enough to find. Check in was quick and the lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. We arrived at our room to have the person two doors away playing exceptionally loud music with the door to the room fully open. My husband and I decided to walk across the road from the hotel to a chicken diner (equivalent to a KFC) which was really nice actually. When getting back to the room the music continued, for approximately another 30 mins. The room was clean but dull looking. It had all the usual essentials apart from shampoo. So it was a bar of soap to wash our hair in. All in all it was ok. I would stay here again.
Weekend get away
Clean, good place for the money, Nice bed nice staff. I did not get up for breakfast so I can not comment on it. Close to Fort Hood, close to Walmart and places to eat. Nice park down the street, includes a dog park. Jack in the box up the street, Mcdonals and KFC only a block away.
Room was smelly
I make a point of writing this review because the other reviews were fairly good but this hotel stink. It’s also loud with traffic delays and people milling about. The smell is musty and smoky. I wouldn’t have stayed but they wouldn’t give me my money back.
Stayed close to base so I could watch my son reenlisting. Rooms were great for the price. They left extra coffee in my room as requested. My only negative comment is that they were not close to anything and breakfast was a bit lacking.
Even at the online "amazing deal," it wasn't amazing at all. Room was okay, but don't bother paying their rates if you want breakfast. It was lame even by continental standards - stale Raisin Bran, tasteless tough frozen breakfast burritos, and frozen waffles so bad that even my kids wouldn't eat them. I mean really, how can you screw up frozen waffles?? If you're looking for a bargain, there are places in town $15-25 cheaper with no breakfast. Use the extra cash to go to Rosa's, a great economical place for breakfast.
