Fantastic 4 night stay !

Reviewed 4 november, 2022

What a wonderful hotel. We stayed here as part of a bus trip this week. Everything we needed for a comfy stay! Comfy beds, the nicest food we’ve had as part of a coach trip, lovely fresh breakfast, a 3 course meal every night. Wonderful staff, i wasn’t well and found it difficult to sit in a crowd to have food. The staff then made sure we had a separate table laid out every morning and night, so thank you very much Gary the folk singer visited on the Tuesday. What a great show he put on for us, a lovely, Down to earth, funny man. We thought he was fantastic. Thank you Rob Roy, you made our first trip to Scotland a delight. And we will definitely be visiting you again

First impressions are of a 1960s holiday camp. It's been added to over time , quite a long building , two stories in part joined by a covered walkway. Rooms a bit Spartan but very clean with nice bathrooms and Tea/ Coffee etc. A very quiet location overlooking fields and a mile wooded walk into Aberfoyle. Nice bar . The dining room is of your old style School Dining room but food is good ( usual choices) for evening and adequate breakfast. Reception staff very friendly. A popular Coach party stop I guess( one of which I was part of). I'd happily stop over here again.

Coach Trip Holiday

Reviewed 19 september, 2022

We arrived at this hotel from our coach first impressions were good. My room was spacious nice comfortable bed plenty of tea bags coffee & biscuits. Lovely view from window. When I went to the bar before my meal the first evening it was spacious & staff behind the bar were very efficient. The dinning room also was specious as I was with a coach trip we had a set time & we got in on time. We were advised were to sit with the menus on the table, the staff gave us time before taking our order. The food was excellent a good three course meal served quickly & so nice to be served at our table instead of buffet. The breakfast was also very good & although the hotel was very busy they staggered meal times so everyone was served quickly & efficiently. There was entertainment on the Friday night which was good. Wood defiantly go to that hotel again.
