This is a very nice, clean and quiet hotel staffed by people who want to insure that your visit is memorable. The entire staff did their best to be accommodating while dealing with the problems caused by the pandemic. Anything we asked for was immediately taken care of.. Breakfast was provided daily with a good variety of food and hot coffee was always available. The front desk employees always had a smile, welcomed you when you came in for the evening and engaged in conversation regarding your plans. Thanks to everyone there.
Horrible Experience- don’t waste your money!

I never give reviews unless they are positive, but I always appreciate people’s honest experiences, and would hate for people to waste their money here unless something changes. Our family was staying in the La Grange area for a family gathering over the 4th of July weekend.
My family as well as my sister and her family each booked rooms here. When we arrived and checked in, we went up to our room to find the door open, bed not made, and a cell phone on the bed. I went downstairs to ask for another room. They moved us to the 3rd floor, gave us new keys, only to get up there to not have our keys work. After another trip to the front desk, we finally got into our room.
The room (as well as my sister’s) had a very strong foul smell. We could never pin-point what it was- smelled very musty and dirty. The hallways looked like they had not been vacuumed in days, and they were never vacuumed the whole time we were there.
When we checked in, we were given cards to select the cleaning services we wanted- room replenish (towels and trash each day), full cleaning, or no cleaning. We selected room replenish. We spent the days with family at a family members home each day, only to return later at night to find that towels had not been changed and trash had not been taken out any day. The final night we were there, we questioned the person at the front desk (really needing clean towels) and were told it would be 1.5-2 hrs before they could get us any, or we could just check back the next morning at 9AM or later (and we needed to check out at 6AM to get on the road).
Also, our shower door was broken and would not close completely…which meant water all over the floor anytime anyone took a shower. One of our beds also had black hairs in it. The front desk people were fairly friendly…but it just seemed like nothing was getting done and no one was cleaning or really cared. Apparently the room cleaning wasn’t just an issue with us- several rooms had piles of dirty towels sitting outside their door in the hallway.
My sister (who lives local) suggested we stay at this hotel because it was “newer.” If that is the case, sadly this hotel has not been run or taken care of well at all. We will definitely choose a hotel a few more miles away in Louisville next time, unless there are drastic changes made here! :(

Very disappointed in Holiday Inn express in La Grange Kentucky.￼ I made a reservation and was unable to stay at that date because of a death in the family and wanted to cancel my reservation or change the date. I contacted them ￼five days prior to the stay date. They did cancel my reservation but they would not change the dates and they charged me full price for the night that I had reserved￼. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn again.

We reserved a King Suite and were given a room with two Queens. When we complained, they said that was all they had left. I asked for a lower rate and they refused. In fact, they charge your credit card an extra $30 that is supposed to be removed at some point. We usually stay at Hampton Inn but choose this property because it was a little closer to our daughter. In the future, we'll be more than happy to make the drive to Hampton Inn. They were two people at the front desk. The lady spent the entire time on her cell phone.
Bailed us out.

We did not originally intend to stay here, but the hotel we checked-in turned out to be a disaster. My son had stayed here before, so he called the hotel. Kelsey was more than accommodating The check-in was essay and we were so impressed with the level of service that we stayed a second night.. I believe the other lady was Paula and I know that Kelsey's sister Kayla worked the first shift. I have had a competitor's card for 15 years, but signed up for an IHG membership. First hot breakfast we had been served on this trip. If you are going to be in the area (only 20 miles out of Louisville). STAY HERE.
