Lovely hotel and great location
We stayed here between two adventure trips. The room was spacious and well appointed. We used the hotel laundry services which were excellent and reasonably priced. We loved two restaurants within walking distance, Nim and Tres Vigenes. Also is was an easy walk to the Malacon.
Great location, comfortable stay
We spent one evening here. Making a reservation was a simple and straightforward process – I used Booking.com. Our room featured two firm but comfortable double beds with large pillows. The sheets and comforter were of excellent quality (clean with no stains or holes). Additional amenities included a work station, a safe, strong free wifi, a coffee maker, complimentary bottled water, and most important, a great, walk in shower, with hot water, and nice thick towels, which was very much appreciated after spending 4 days at whale watching camp. There was a pool, which we did not use and the hotel is located less than a 10 minute walk from the malecon. Breakfast was included in our rate and was delicious – made to order with 5 packages that one could choose from. My only complaint was reception staff could have been a tad more welcoming. We asked a few questions and I felt like I was disturbing them.
If you don’t get a room away from the street stay away.
Traffic goes by your door, no view,!looks like a basic Howard johnson’s Maybe find a better option. So noisy, no Mexican charm In a country with so many beautiful handicrafts why get cheap acrylic Chinese bedding?
Recommended With Conditions
There are some positives about Seven Crown Centro. The location is great - a couple of blocks from the Malecon, safe parking, decent breakfast and near lots of excellent restaurants and shopping. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Our room was small, but not too cramped. Our friends stayed in a suite which was quite nice. That said, our room was on the street side and it got pretty noisy at night including someone playing Mariachi riffs on a trumpet until 2AM one night. The hall got pretty noisy early mornings when the staff was organizing for cleaning. Our friends had a room facing the courtyard and reported things were quieter for them. Our friends called ahead to check on an accessibility question and were assured that the hotel has an elevator - it doesn't, so be advised. Definitely ask for a room facing the courtyard and you'll enjoy your stay.
Comfortable and quiet
Close to the Malecón but far away to be quiet. Restaurant “Nim” was directly across the road and is rated the best in town. Justifiably! Laundry’s service was good and was delivered back early afternoon.
