Horrific staff-Rude and Hostile

We are Lifetime Platinum members and have NEVER been treated so rudely by any hotel chain. The extremely unprofessional woman working at 7PM on May 3 (we were so upset we left without getting her name) was openly rude and hostile from the moment we walked in. We immediately asked for her manager and when told she was not available (Faith Ward) we cancelled our reservation on the spot and walked out to stay at the much more pleasant and hands down professional and FRIENDLY Residence Inn South Waco where they know how to treat customers. We have filed a complaint with Marriott Corp and are expecting no less than a call from the hotel manager.

Night audit personnel was not at front desk when we arrived.
Checked us in begrudgingly. Mask under her nose.
Rude. Short. Tacky (threw my card back on the desk instead of placing it and explaining why).
Room is disgusting. I'm still in it. Just changed my own sheets. Had to go get them because Tamika couldn't be bothered to bring them, because she was doing paper work. Her tone is not the best reflection on the Marriott brand.
Check out the pictures that I took upon arrival (about 15 min ago).
This room was never cleaned. She said they were fully booked and didn't even offer to change the room. Again, her tone lacked sympathy and professionalism. Where else can we go at 4a?
I hope Mr. Lopez addresses the many staffing issues here (customer service and house keeping).

Hotel staff were unfriendly( called to let them know we would be there late and the response was awful , sharp tone) , room was dirty (shower floor had residue and shelf was broken). Also, there was food still left in fridge from previously visitor. When we checked out we got no hotel receipt and we’re told to put keys in bucket on desk. No thank, please come back or anything. Rude staff.

I stayed here for a few weeks while waiting for my apartment to be ready. This hotel ticked all the boxes for me. The suite I stayed in was clean and comfortable, I really enjoyed the kitchen and being able to cook my own food instead of eating out. The fitness center is all new equipment and saved me a few trips to the gym. Breakfast was limited due to covid, which is understandable. The front desk people always seemed to be really happy.
Travel all the time...do not recommend this place.

Stayed there a week...multiple issues. I can overlook an issue during a week stay, if its quickly addressed, but there were multiple issues. Shortly after settling in, we discovered ants in our room. An exterminator had to be called, we were not offered a different room. In fact, we were told by staff that it has been a problem since opening. Then, we find empty beer cans in one of the cupboards in the kitchenette. How long had they been there? Didn't really give you a sense that it was cleaned well in these Corona times. Asked for housekeeping one day, didn't get it. We skipped several days, but on this day I talked to the lady right outside our room and it still wasn't done. Trash not collected..had to do that ourselves. When we got ready to leave, one of our items slid under the bed. Wish we hadn't looked--bar of soap, food container (probably drew the ants), bottle caps, plastic bags, food crumbs....disgusting. Breakfast was a joke. You pay for it, can't serve it due to Corona, but you get a couple of half dollar size sausage patties and a granola bar...every day! I will not stay there again obviously, but i recommend you move on down the road in the Waco area. Also, they did not enforce the face masks in the open areas.
