Beautiful, serene location and great staff

My wife and I had a wonderful 3 night stay. The resort is lovely and it seems more amenities are opening soon. It is quite an isolated place, so you do need a car, but Lagos is only 10 mins away. The breakfast was made-to-order with a good selection of eggs cooked any way you want, cheeses, fruits, avocados, baked beans, waffles, coffee and juices. What made the stay especially great was the friendly and accommodating staff, especially Carolina who was a delight and very friendly!
Delightful+delicious dinner amidst the palm trees!

What a pleasant evening from start to finish. The warm welcoming Shantel is sure to set the tone for a lovely evening. The setting amidst the palm trees is romantic and exhilarating - salve for the soul after the confinement of the past year.
Carolina and George were welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive, without being intrusive. And Petal keeps the well oiled machine moving.
The food was delicious. The classic caesar salad was memorable with perfectly chilled romaine, tangy and cheesy to my liking (flavorful but not overwhelmed), and crispy garlic croutons. And the fresh whole snapper roasted with Chardonnay, capers, shallots, basil, sautéd spinach was fabulous - perfectly cooked and so fresh and flavorful. And so ample some was a snack the following day.
I would definitively recommend and return. Tell Petal and the gang I sent you!
Fabulous hotel, great vistas, lovely team.......heaven.

We have just returned after spending 9 nights at the Beach House Hotel. Lovely hotel with great vistas over the Palmares Golf course towards the Atlantic ocean. Each of the 22 rooms has a balcony with stunning views. We simply couldn't wait to wake up each morning to drink in the views...stunning. Rooms are well proportioned and the large king size bed was so comfortable. Lots of wardrobe and cupboard space which is a bonus!!
Breakfast each day on the veranda was lovely and served between 8am -11am so all very chilled and no need to rush as they need to clear tables for lunch.
But what really made our stay so enjoyable were the team. We love Portugal for the Portugese. Such lovely, welcoming and hospitable people. Thank you Anabela and Vera......you spoiled us with you kindness, help and hospitality.
We love the area and we can't wait to return.........after a holiday like this quarantine is a breeze!!!
A Room with a Most Marvellous View

Tucked away at the end of a road from several very expensive villas, this chic hotel is a minimalist's heaven.
We were shown to our room and then invited down for a welcome drink. Sparkling wine, don't mind if I do.
We were in room 206 which had a fantastic balcony. Large room with massive bed. Great shower and toiletries. Very comfortable. I wasn't expecting sun beds as well as chairs. As it happened we didn't use them as we always managed to get a space at the pool. The water is on the cold side but you get used to it.
I cannot over emphasise the view from the rooms and the surrounding light. It is jaw dropping. Undulating grounds which form the golf course and then your eye is drawn to the sea in the distance. You can walk the path around the course down to the beach and if you are a wildlife fan there are hares and lots of birds to be seen.
Location wise, ideally you will need a hire car. We used the hotel as a base and visited Sagres and watched the sun go down. The nearby towns and villages such as Silves, Burgua, Selma, Praia de Luz are worth a visit. The light in the area is out of this world.
I have marked the hotel down a notch as we just felt that breakfast was disappointing. Lack of buffet does make things difficult but it just fell short on a few mornings. Had a couple of evening meals. Very good cataplana and decent wine.
I would love to revisit at some point in the future when, hopefully, we have moved on. The view is pulling me back already.
Thank you to all the staff too who were very pleasant.
Amazing view, super exclusive!

We are currently staying in this hotel for 5 nights in total and enjoying it to the fullest. It feels super exclusive due to the amount of rooms (20). Especially during corona this hotel is perfect to stay in. The pool is almost empty as there are
mostly people staying here to play golf. The Lounge/Restaurant area looks very modern and the service is good. Every room is very spacious and modern and offers amazing views over the ocean and pool.
I would definitely recommend this hotel if you enjoy being away from the crowds and if you enjoy privacy!
