Asked for an upgrade, got a downgrade, asked about property gift was told I was given points, no one asked no recognition for being a diamond. If heat was selected it never turned off.. older hotel was mostly clean... reviews say 4 stars ( I say 2 1/2 stars - overall experience) Will be last time I stay here
Makeover of staff, attitudes, and property

The door lock into the exercise room was broken. This room didn't contain towels. I went to the front desk, and the attendant made a special note in my charts that he gave me towels for exercise and insisted that I return the towels to my room, or I would be charged extra. The towels were hard as rocks and scratchy.
The bathroom did not have any robe, or clothes hooks on the walls, or door. Our bathroom door expanded so much that I almost became trapped inside the bathroom when the door fully closed. The towel texture was brutal. This place needs softer towels.
The breakfast sucked. The coffee reminded me of instant coffee. The supposedly hot food was cold. We did not bother with their breakfast on the second day. We went out to breakfast twice during our stay.
Lastly, can you properly list if your hotels are privately owned? This is my 3rd stay at Hotel owned by non-Americans, and the service, and attitudes of these operators are always the worst. I enjoyed my visit to Chicago, but this Sleep Inn location was the pits.
The price was in range however, my previous stay at the Midway Airport location was much better.

I stay here regularly for work and the staff is great and the hotels always clean. Comfy beds and great towels. Breakfast is good. I would probably stay here even if it wasn’t work related. Internet is fast.
Hotel was clean, but very old and small room and small bathroom. Treadmill was not well serviced and not good area to ru

Not worth what we paid. Came here because wedding we were invited to reserved rooms here. Hotel needs to update room and the front entrance desk needs to be more inviting, with no high desk as barrier to guests.
Thankful we ended up here by default

We had reservations at the Red Roof Inn but for some reason they didn't have room for us and referred us to another budget hotel by the freeway. That hotel looked downright scary so I found this one a few blocks away instead and we were thankful to find a decent clean room at the last minute. The hostess was kind and professional, the price fair, the hotel clean, the breakfast plentiful, and our room was comfortable. There was a breakfast room attendant and although we were eating close to the ending time, she kept the food stocked. Our room was quiet, the airconditioner worked well, and we slept great. Although we paid more than we would have at the Red Roof, we ended up in a much nicer facility where breakfast was included.
