A place away from home...clean rooms, reasonable price, staff are friendly and helpful, good wifi and air conditioning, You can ask for extra linens, get advise where to go, has hot and cold shower, offers unique Ilocano dishes too, may request staff to cook for you!
Budget Inn
I know what I pay for so I didn't set any expectations. The place is in a residential area. A few minutes by tricycle ride from the plaza. Rooms were ok nothing fancy. Beds, fridge and A/C. The bathroom is all in 1... no shower curtain. The towel hanger was broken. We had complimentary breakfast (rice, egg, vigan longganisa which we really like and juice). There's a lounge area but maybe because it's summer.... it's just too hot to sit around. The place is practical for budget backpackers. Also, the frontdesk guy was very friendly so we liked that.
Stay in Ilocos for 3 days
Ilocos have the famous Calle Crisologo, Museo ilocos norte, and many other tourist destination, I enjoy the stay cause I don't stay most of my time in the hotel but going to the tourist spots. The hotel is fine even it have no wifi, we there for the tourist destinations anyway.
Plain bad
The place is difficult to find. No wifi. The staff is clueless, can't even provide info on where the bus station is. The room is spartan. The view outside the window is another wall. They have a sitting room outside where no one can bear to sit because the air does not circulate at all and is very hot and uncomfortable. Couldn't wait to get out of there.
Clean and safe accommodation for a budget-wise vacation.
The place is safe and ideally located if you plan to go around the region. The staff were friendly and assisted us with our itinerary. The rooms are clean and spacious to accomodate a group. I like their interior and exterior decors, it is so "homey" and the breakfast is so "Ilocano".
