Nice pictures but in person not so great

Weekend for two - the location is next to the highway, in an industry-park. Yes, there is a view of the water. The garage did not have the level of protection that is worth paying for - parking on the street is just as safe. Staff was under par in general. The focus on quality is just not there for my tastes and my expectations. In all the room appeared clean, renovated a few years ago. Breakfast was also ok. Next time, I would simply pay a few Euros more and stay in a standard brand hotel. This hotel is a touch too expensive for what it is.

Sadly not worth the money

I stayed here for a couple of nights as an attendee of the Ars Electronica Festival + good breakfast til 10:00 with nice spreads, fresh tomato, cucumber and capsicum, but no pancakes + if you enjoy running, the riverside offers a nice flat partly gravel partly paved car-free promenade to do a few kms + bed was super comfy no complaints had a very restful sleep; my room faced the water away from the motorway which was probably good - location: not sure how besides a motorway is in any way useful except for arrival/departure. if you’re without car you are stranded in a place that perhaps offers a nice riverside walk to town during the day but which i wouldn’t recommend at night by solo female travelers; price for taxi to center 10 Euros, station 15 Euros - perhaps a great hotel for a conference because attendants won’t be distracted by the beautiful old town or any other closeby amenities as you’re basically stranded on the dead end of a neglected harbor strip - “fitness center” is very minimal, which would be OK, but only opens at 11:00 am, sauna at 16:00 which made it unusable for me who would need to work out before breakfast; - service: one or two staff members were quite friendly and professional but frankly it felt that the majority of staff were overwhelmed and not well trained for their position, or often left by themselves at reception. I encountered many guests having issues with check-in or check-out taking too long; when calling the reception no one ever picked up; - room: you could see the attempt to make this nice, with the coffee maker, some biscuits, a little story printed on a piece of paper, and a glass bottle with filtered water, some amenities seemed tired/dusty; there was no info folder about the hotel or anything (e.g. about the “fitness center”, room service (was there any?), laundry, public transport, etc.); TV reception was bad For around 140 Euro a night the experience was unfortunately not a good experience

Not a good hotel.

Not an enjoyable experience that we will not be repeating. Completely disinterested reception staff ignored us (on a number of occasions) while they had a chat amongst themselves. A request for an additional pillow was met by "we don't have any spare". They do not answer calls to reception on the internal system. The location is remote and too far to walk to the town centre for dining etc. There must be much better hotels in Linz.

Really good hotel

The rooms are very confortable and nicely decorated. The hotel is in a very quite area by the river. The breakfast had lots of options to choose from and was great value for money. We stayed there only for one night but plan to come back in the future.

Convenient friendly stop on our Danube cycling trip

Reviewed 29 july, 2022

Clean friendly hotel close to the river which is very convenient for cyclists on the Danube cycle way. Helpful receptionist, clean hotel. Buffet breakfast was good- fine for vegetarians. Set dinner menu was not so vegetarian friendly (although there was one option). Dinner available until 9pm but buffet dishes were a bit tired after 8pm. Advertised fitness suite was fairly minimal. Sauna was good. Situated about a 12 minute cycle down the river path to the Hauptplatz.
