Modern and comfortable.
We enjoyed our stay at the Empire. Marco, the day manager was a gem, alway full of advice, which as the city was approaching the lockdown was welcome. The rooms were clean, the breakfasts excellent with great service from the other staff
Spotlessly clean, stylish hotel. Adequate breakfast and super, friendly staff. No views but didn't expect that in a city centre. Close to Alameda metro stop. Even closer to Arroious stop but this is currently closed for a refurbishment. Lots of ramps and 2 lifts so I'm guessing it's suitable for those with walking difficulties or with buggies. Lisbon is a great city and this hotel was ideal for us
friendly and helpful staff, spotless hotel
stayed here for week, nice hotel, everything very clean, the staff always attended us with a smile, the breakfast was plentiful. the location of the hotel good and local to the Metro, but can be noisy at night due to traffic, as we preferred to sleep with the window open. we would stay at this hotel again
Lovely hotel except for the beds
This hotel is spotless clean and in a good location the staff are nice and helpful except when it comes to the beds and the pillows this place gets a 0. The beds are so hard you may as well sleep on the floor and the pillowz are so small there terrible. When i spoke tothe staf they apologised and said they noticed other people complaining on different sites reviews. They said they would inform management and maybe they would get some toppers. That was the end of that even though we spoke to them almost everyday. So all in all unless you like really hard beds dont stay here.
Excellent cheap hotel
Located close to a metro station and with many shops and restaurant around, this hotel is a very good choice for such a (surprisingly) low price. The rooms are well equipped, and although it's a bit noisy inside (as the hotel is located on a 24/7 busy road), it's worth the money. I can't imagine to stay there for a longer vacation, but for a night or two, this is definitely one of the best options in Lisbon.
