Central but some poor details

Reviewed 29 october, 2022

The hotel is modern, centrally located but lets itself down in a few things. Firstly, we were in a superior room on the third floor, around the side of the hotel but it was still extremely noisy in the mornings from trams and traffic. The TV was poor, most channels not tuned and those that were were stuttering regularly. The room was small but ok, bed a little small and there were only two sockets in the room, both on one side of the bed and one didn’t work. It seemed to be a room for a single person. I didn’t like that there is a glass door on the toilet and that one wall of the shower is a full length window looking out on to the bedroom, it had a curtain but still I didn’t like it. Insulation around ‘bathroom noises’ was poor. Staff were friendly and you can’t beat it for its location but I won’t be going back

Beware of crime at Turim Terreiro Do Paco Hotel

Reviewed 20 october, 2022

Beware! I am a 67-year old from Minnesota writing a review. We don't usually complain. Beware because my backpack was stolen from the lobby near the front desk while we were waiting to check in. As a part of a group of 17 people, it was chaos. As I used it as a second suitcase, it had $$, medications, make up, new Apple air buds, Apple tablet, new rapid charger and new clothes. Yes, we had a police report. No, the hotel management would not talk to us or review the security tape with the police. The hotel management did not care. Beware if anything happens to you. The manager, Marina Faria, sent her junior people to communicate. If anything happens, you have to go to the Tourist Police for help. The manager said the police did not fill the police paperwork out correctly and that is why they could not review the tapes. I went back to the police and they revised the paperwork, however again, the management did not take action. Beware.

Lisbon is beautiful but this hotel should not be advertised as 4 stars.

Reviewed 7 october, 2022

My husband and I reserved a 4 star hotel and found a 2.5 star standard. A very small dark room, NO closet, just 3 hangers on a rod and NO INTERNET during 24 hours of our stay ( we’re still here and waiting for the WiFi to be repaired). No lobby. Very disappointed and unhappy guests on our first trip to Lisbon.

Great Location, Good Service, Rooms Need Tech Upgrades

Reviewed 23 september, 2022

The hotel's location is fantastic, the rooms are spacious for Europe and clean. The inconveniences were not having a single USB port in the room, nor having a single electrical outlet alongside the night tables in the room. Additionally, the WiFi was terribly slow and unreliable, cutting in and out frequently. Another minor annoyance is the TV that for whatever reason is encapsulated in a decorative frame. The problem with that is the high frequencies are muted, and the low frequencies are amplified making the TV sound like a muffled subwoofer. Because of this you can hear the TVs it the adjacent rooms constantly through the walls.
