Lived to tell my tale
I stayed at guitart rosa for a week and have literally lived to tell my tale! I will start with the positives. The staff were friendly & helpful.. apart from two male receptionists. On my late arrival at 3am, I was severely dehydrated & asked for a glass of water, and was told the kitchen is closed. They pointed to a fizzy drinks dispenser. There was no water in it. I had to nip round to macdonalds to get one. Then to my horror i opened the door to my room which was the size of a cupboard with the aroma of 30 years worth of sweat and smelly flip flops impregnated into the walls! I asked for another room which i was given the next day. It was larger but just as run down as the first. The pool, garden reception area is the only nice thing about this hotel. The hallways and carpets are disgustingly filthy. Thankfully i didnt do all inclusive, the breakfast was plentiful but the food was of poor quality & greasy. I stuck to yoghurt & cereal after second day. I would rate this a 1 star hotel. Ive stayed in nicer hostels. Anyway, saving the best bit for last. On my last night, I went to the loo in the wee hours.. 10 mins later i heard a crash, bang, thud.. To my horror part of the bathroom ceiling fell down on top of the loo! I could have been seriously hurt or at worst killed! Seriously if you are thinking of staying here with children "think again" The staff apologised & gave me a larger, nicer room for the last seven hours of my stay. This hotel needs some serious refurbishment, before someone gets seriously hurt. Guitart rosa hotel "get your act together, before someone sues" Very angry customer.. Carole from Scotland
I stayed at the hotel for nine days, unlucky for me that I arrived around half past 8 because you can check in at 3 o’clock but they did have a room for my luggage with a lock on it, and some chairs where you could chill (and sleep if you want to) and also the pool was open where they got sun beds :). The staff from the hotel were amazing, they work so hard and they are so friendly, a big shoutout to them! The only thing was that I didn’t got airco in my room and that made me sleep pretty bad. I did open the balcony doors but at night everyone makes noice while coming home so that wasn’t a great option either. The hotel from the outside is beautiful pink with a great pool ! The room was simple but good enough for me alone to sleep there and use the bathroom. The food was also good, they had a lot of different food. So overall is it a great hotel, with great staff. Btw also when you walk out of the hotel , your right away in the shopping street, 10 min walk from the beach and maybe 5/10 min walk to the club area !!
i can't really be to harsh but are room had no aircon so humid and the shower arm was broken. I will make sure i get a pool view next time aswell the little paddling pool had fag buts init but the main pall as amazing
Just got home from lloret this hotel is a disgrace the carpets are filthy the restaurant has a big hole in roof the food was disgusting there's no smoke alarms in rooms it's a 3 star ha more like a 1 star we were very lucky has we got moved after 2 days to another hotel thank God please don't stay here
I stayed here for 4 nights in late September and after seeing the lovely gardens, reasonable reception, to say I found my room terribly disappointing would be an understatement. My first inkling of how poor the room might be came as I exited the lift on the 4th floor. The carpets were filthy, the dirt was literally ingrained. The food was lukewarm and I am convinced that the beans at breakfast hadn't even been warmed, just emptied into the serving dishes straight from the tin. Checkout was an awful experience. So bad that I have complained to the travel agents I booked with. Steer clear of this awful hotel.
