Fantastic Hotel, Facilities, location and personnel
Reviewed 29 november, 2022
The hotel is fantastic. The personnel is very nice and helpful. Great location, near the city center. It was a very good experience. The rooms have a lot of space, and are quiet. Everything was clean and tied up. Breakfast is very good quality. Good value for money.
Lovely Building and good rooms

Well located in the centre and an attractive place to be. Staff were helpful an pleasant. Good breakfast and comfortable room. The car park has a steep angle, but I think that's normal in Spain. Not for the faint-hearted.
Nice Hotel in Logrono

The hotel is on a quiet street in the old town of Logrono. The hotel was very clean and was quiet for the 4 nights I was there. The room was a good size, the hotel WiFi worked without a hitch. The breakfast at the hotel was very good. The staff were friendly and provided recommendations on where to eat. Calle Laurel which contains lots of ponchos bars is only a few minutes walk away; there are also other places to eat and drink nearby.
Not 4 star for sure

Although the hotel is 4 star , they had only one staff, Diego at the hotel when we checked in around 6pm. Hotel was full house and poor Diego tried his very best to attend to the guests but was not humanly possible when they were running full house . The roads were blocked because it was Saturday and some of the guests needed help getting to the hotel and parking the car but poor Diego had only one pair of hands. Secondly, we paid for a premium room but we did not get any rest at all. Our bed only had sheets and no comforter/duvet . It was getting cold and we called down to try and get our bed made properly and was told to wait for housekeeping the following day or go look and make our own bed with the beddings In the cupboard. We tried sleeping without the comforter/duvet but it got cold and we asked for a duvet cover but the night receptionist did not understand me and ask me to make do or wait for tomorrow. At no time did anyone offer to come make up the bed properly. Lastly the premium room was a joke as we were on the corner first floor and we could hear the pounding of the what sounded like a disco till 4.30 am. It was the weekend and we did not expect it for a premium room. We can normally sleep with some noise no problem but NOT with the pounding and vibrations coming from the bar next door. The night receptionist said we could talk to the supervisor in the morning and get some discount ( how could they sell it as a premium room) but then the hotel deducted the full sum before morning with my holding credit card . No supervisor was found in the morning , just Diego who apologized for our non existent sleep. Apparently the supervisor said no discount is offered , not their “fault “ . No apologies from her. I think the hotel is very understaffed and some of the policies are not 4 star standard. Not even 3 star standard. To be fair, Diego is a decent hardworking guy. Was apologetic and was kind enough to waive breakfast but it was not a nice experience at all. We did not get a proper rest. Unless the hotel get their act together, I would avoid it despite the reviews. They need more staff especially when they were running full house and better standards to be 4 star. Premium rooms should not be a disco like.

Quite difficult to find, this hotel is on a small what first appears to be a pedestrian only street in the old town. Lots of bar's, restaurants and shops a short walk away. I found this hotel recommended on lots of blogs but I have to say I found it unremarkable. Staff pleasant, room adequate, air conditioning good, instant coffee!! Worst thing was the parking which we booked in advance for €18 a night. It is close to the hotel in a small underground car park. The spaces themselves are not small by Spanish standards but the entrance and steep circular ramp going down are not for the “faint hearted” I was glad I had turned down the larger car at the airport. Luckily for me it was not full during our stay., which gave some room for maneuvering. There is above ground parking about eight minutes walk away but I do not know what security overnight is like there.
