I didn't know what to expect. But Mayfair House and particularly the kind and generous team exceeded my expectations. I usually stay in more expensive hotels during my many visits to London. No more. Mayfair House will be the choice from now on. Great accommodation, location, staff, and service.
Really good with a couple of flaws

There are lots of great things about this accommodation but a couple of caveats. The location was fab. 100m walk to Piccadilly road where the shops started. A further 500m to get towards Piccadilly so it felt fairly close but without the mayhem. The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable and had everything you would need. The lady on the desk was also lovely and very helpful. It felt warm and secure as soon as you entered. There were a couple of things however that weren’t great which I think most could cope with, but having visited with an 11 month old was tricky. The sockets next to the bed aren’t British so were unusable. We had to use a double socket near the tv which meant trying to charge 2 phones, music for a baby, a night light, heartrate monitor etc. There were also large bins of bottles being emptied outside at night between 6-11pm. Assuming bars/restaurants. Normally wouldn’t be an issue but woke our baby up repeatedly. Finally, and again only baby specific frustrations. We said our baby would be co sleeping so didnt need a cot and its why we wanted the extra large double bed. This was in fact 2 singles pushed together so our baby was sleeping on a crease which was both uncomfortable and potentially risky. Baby aside, would definitely stay again but with a young one, just wasn’t quite right but still thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the apartment space.

Ive stayed in Mayfair House Apartment London almost all my summer visits for the past 4-5 years. I am beyond surprised what has happened to the level of service overall from housekeeping to cleaningness to professionalism to even value for money. Im staying in this place for almost 3 weeks, i sent an email for many issues i am facing, although they responded back that they will take care of it BUT THEY NEVER DID. We checked in at 6pm at night to an extremely filthy dirty apartment. Chocolates on the floor and under the bed. Dusty carpet and crisps on the floor. I was surprised to come to know that housekeeping has changed to 3 times a week ! And the issue the room is never clear as if there isnt any housekeeping. They dont even change bedsheet and bedcover even after staying for over 2 weeks ! Why would i pay over 600 pounds a day for an NON SERVICED APARTMENTS ONE BEDROOM ? Definitely not value for money regardless of how the location is advertised ! Many issues, i gave addressed the main ones above. I hope one day they go back to the level they were at. Very sad to see they have been downgraded soo much. Wish them luck, but im definitely never coming back again. Many residents who stayed have told me the same.
Beautiful apartment in a perfect location

I stayed with my husband for one night in a beautiful, large one bedroom apartment which was great value for money compared to any Mayfair hotel. The apartment had everything you could possibly want and was spotlessly clean. The girls on reception were absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.

It was all going so well! I stay in London every month and have always used the Hilton on Park Lane for 15+ Years, however as it is closed at present, i thought i would try these apartments. All was good, nice meet and greet, Apartment great, and i thought over my 2 nights that i might start to use these rather than the hotel in future. Then after leaving i get a £45 charge on my debit card - no idea why, only to find it was for "burn marks" on the bed runner - odd as i never used an iron in my stay, and i did notice there was an ironing board - so why would i use the bed to iron on if i was going to! I have spoken to them, but they seem fairly sure it was me - when it 100% was not! Apart from leaving bad reviews on here and Google, i will obviously not be staying again! 12-15 stays a year for 2-3 nights, lot for a fake £45 charge! It also begs the question - how well are they checking and cleaning the vacated apartments if they only find this AFTER another guest has left - someone previous to me must have caused the DAMAGE!
