Good stay, breakfast could be better

The room was spacious, very big TV screen, clean bathroom and comfy bed. And as other reviewers already wrote, there is no noise from the neighboring railway station.
However, although the breakfast buffet wasn't really with too few choices, for the price there should have been somewhat more choices of bread and cheeses. Also, the scrambled eggs were only lukewarm. Maybe Covid is a reason why they currently limit the options?
Covid related: waiting staff in the restaurant - not all, but some - just have their mask on their chin, not covering mouth and nose; but that's clearly a French thing, much less people in France were it properly on public transport, in shops, restaurants... than other countries like Germany or even Belgium.
With a small notch up of breakfast this would have received a 'very good' rating.
Large and comfy room

Stayed 3 nights with my son. Had a large family room with a view over the rails (this was an ask by my little guy). Sound proofing is brilliant and air con was good as well.
Enjoyed the large shower and was quite surprised by the provided soap (good product, its honey-smell is just surprising at the beginning, but it is a good choice).
Breakfast is decent -- maybe the place where slight improvements could be done.
Would not hesitate to return there.
Excellent food and amazing organic red wine

Good value for price when it comes to the food and the wines. There is a big kitchen and what we ate was fresh. We were also granted a generous late check-out. Ideally located for those wanting to take the train. Specious rooms (even if I don't like carpets on the floor), good bathroom amenities. Just I felt that the pillows were too flat. They did not feel expensive.
A nice stay but a little bit weird

A nice stay but a little bit weird
This is the 4th accor hotel we have stayed at during covid and to be truthful thought it was a little weird.
Stayed for 3 nights. We are platinum accor and we’re upgraded to a privilege room and received a thoughtful gift of hand sanitizer and mask.
Reception was right inside the doorway Facemasks were demanded (which I don’t have a problem with) but the hand sanitizer was barely used. (People had got off public transport with cases etc, using the reception desk and then getting in the lifts)
We were asked to sit next to reception whilst having a drink- which we could without a mask : confusing people checking in.
At no time did I see the lift buttons being cleaned (I did myself on 2 occasions ). Maybe the shoe polisher could be replaced by hand gel dispenser ?
Patrick, at the bar, provided great customer service.
Our room was nice, reasonably quiet (the noise was from the room above) and large, with views over the train station and city. We were told it would be cleaned after night 2, but if we needed anything extra to ask at reception. I don’t have a problem with the cleaning but had to ask reception for more toilet rolls / water cups / coffee etc. A better initial supply and a few more towels would have meant that bothering reception would not have been required.
Just thinking if you sit in reception and watch the foot flow it is very hard for social distancing to be easily achieved. Although there were signs and arrows ,some guests still tried to get in the lift when it was already full.
We arrived on the Rhône Express, 30 mins and just under 16 euros per person from LYS. Hotel is across road joined to IBIS Budget and Styles.
Railway station 1 min walk and you can exit the other side for the shopping mall.
Trams 1 min walk.
We received our bill by email the night before checkout which was incorrect with 4 breakfasts added that we didn’t have. We were advised this is how they do it, then if you don’t have breakfast they will remove it.
We had a late checkout until 1.30pm which w
When a problem appears.... people here don't have the capability to solve, to help or to support properly

Before leaving the hotel, I realized that the cash I had in my wallet was stolen. After reviewing all my activities in the last days, my conclusion is that the only possibility was Saturday morning when I had breakfast in the hotel and forgot my phone and wallet in the room (without storing them in the safebox either). The room was made at the time I was having breakfast.
So, I raised my complain to the reception…. but as expected …. nothing positive beside a smile… and saying “you can go the police”
Just to say, that when everything is going well is easy to bring a good service but when something is going wrong or a problem appears, the way to solve or provide help/support to do it shows how you as a hotel really matters on your guest!!! Obviously it doesn't seem the case of this hotel
