Old, overpriced - Kids área across the street
Spent two nights in July, All inclusive. The kids pools And the restaurant (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are across the street, on a different building, not connected to the main area. This is totally inconvenient! The girls from Entertainment are super nice and friendly, but the rest of the staff were not helpful, looked tired, overwhelmed, probably underpaid unfortunately. I have paid the same money for some Iberostar hotels , and are MUCH better than this hotel. Not recommended
It was wonderful relaxing holiday
Very good location. Close to the sea with glorious beach. The room was sea view - every morning we cold see stunningly beautiful sunrises. Varied tasty food, good services. Silence and tranquility of the environment favor relaxation.
Really nice hotel good service .clean throughout. Very quiet this time of year. Cant fault the hotel itself good choice of food.my only issue is the food is warm not hot.i had an e mail from the hotel asking was there any way they could improve my stay I informed the hotel of the food issue ... . .was still the same days after .. . What was the point of the e mail . I would come back again but earlier in the year
Peaceful and Beautiful
We selected this hotel through a third party website for a package deal. On arrival the hotel is not what you expect on the outside however on entering the reception you can see the attention to detail and see why it is a 4 star hotel. The hotel is large in size and spreads along the beach front for approximately 2 small side streets. Our room was 122 on the first floor, room is average in size but decorated neatly. Bed is 2x above average sized bed put together- felt like memory foam mattresses and were comfortable. Wardrobe could do with updating as didnt shut correctly. Safe within the wardrobe must be paid for to use which i think is poor standard - should be made available free of charge to keep valuables safe. 2 chairs in the room for watching TV are comfortable. TV has a range of channels however only found 2 English speaking channels (sky news and cnbc). A good view of the sea and poolside with a private balcony including 2 chairs and table. Unfortunately seemed to be dust on all the side boards including the minibar. Poolside is well presented and cleaned every day since arrival. Pool is not cold but not hot either - just about right for the temperature of November. Bar - staff are friendly and attentive - always smiling. Prices are OK however wonder if when coming closer to off-season or actual off-season where very little is open... That they may have taken a drop in price but understand why they wouldn't. Food court - We stayed on a bed & breakfast. Breakfast provided is of good variety and good standard of cooking. Toasted sandwiches, fresh fruit, yogert, pastries, fried breakfast and cereals. For Dinner they wished to have €29pp - we did this on our final night as we were struggling for opened locations. Again a good selection which changes every night slightly. Evening Entertainment - variety of performances but mostly singers. A good standard for such a hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone - would like to see it in season or coming to a close of season as i think it was a little too quiet around the area to keep yourself entertained. All in all a good place to relax and enjoy some winter sun.
Excellent hotel in a superb location.
I stayed at the Mediterraneo with my elderly Mum in October 2019. I had carefully chosen this hotel as it looked a luxurious hotel right on the Promenade in the resort. I wanted her to have a lovely treat and stay in a beautiful hotel with good facilities. We asked for a seaview and our room on the fourth floor had the most amazing view of the whole bay. Our room was very well provided, with good comfy beds, plenty of wardrobe space, and good toiletries provided too. We would of appreciated finding the room had a kettle as standard as we do like to be able to make a hot drink. But on asking at reception, a kettle was available for a small daily charge. The safe was also an extra charge too. The food available both morning and night was of a very good standard with amazing choice. You would of been very hard pushed to of not found anything to tempt the most fussy eater. There was also a carvery with a chef present every evening with a lovely meat choice. For a hotel of this quality I do not think the drinks prices were too bad either. Each evening there was entertainment, flamenco show, acrobatic act from Bejing who were very good, guitarist, Mowtown singers and quick change magic act. In other words something for every taste. During the day there was an aquarobics class in the pool. I also saw they were holding darts and shooting contests. The pool area was beautiful and plenty of loungers and also plenty of comfy seating in and out of the sun. The lobby area in the hotel was very attractive and pleasant to sit in. So taken all round I feel this hotel was excellent. It was adult only, but I noted it suited people of all ages young couples, middle age and elderly people alike. There is a bus stop immediatly outside the hotel, where you can easily access Porto Christo or Cala Bona or even as we did catch the express bus to lovely Palma in an hour. We would definitely like to go back sometime. I would also go back with my husband sometime too. Next time I would hire a car to be able to explore more of the beautiful island. There is only one point I feel I need to make. That is if you really want to be able to enjoy sunbathing on your balcony, then this is not really possible. Only some of the seaviews got the sun on the balconies and then only until noon or just after. But as the sun when out was always around the pool area this was not a problem as you could almost always find a lounger somewhere in the sunshine. The Mediterraneo Hotel is a very good 4* Hotel and highly recommendable. We found Sa Coma a lovely resort.
