More about the hotel
Lovely hotel disappointed in staff.
Hotel was lovely. We had a lovely stay here whilst we attended a wedding in Cala D’or. Unfortunately a few items of my jewellery that was very special to me was stolen from our room, there was at least 2 items. When i reported this they advised that they have a strict policy against things being taken from guests room. Totally not good enough and unfortunately one member of staffs behaviour reflects badly on the hotel as a whole.
Very pleasant hotel
Nice hotel, Good food, great location 3 mins from beach. All inclusive was good. Room and bed were great, overlooking pool with good sun on the balcony during PM. Nice walks to other beaches as well as a very nice Marina. I'd love to stay again sometime.
Enjoyed it.
Went with friends and enjoyed it. Great location. Beach and town are lovely. Rooms decent and clean. We were all inclusive, so food was lovely although we did eat in the town twice. Drinks ok but typical for all inclusive. Staff friendly enough. Hotel was very quiet due to the Thomas Cook situation but that's not their fault. Would recommend.
This is not a Four Star hotel!
I booked the Sentido Hotel believing it to be a four star hotel as advertised. I'm afraid this hotel is definitely not a 4 star! Putting a plaque up outside saying so does not change anything. This hotel is a nice 3 star hotel and needs to make massive improvements to reach 4 star. The rooms are very dated with cheap fittings, the wood around doors coming away, air con (not very good) was dripping out water, which was rotting skirting board. I was given room 311 with the usual 2 singles pushed together (just why hotels do this is beyond me!) i then requested a topper to see if this would rectify things, it didn't! Room 311 has a lovely view of a palm tree which blocks everything else, good if you like secluded balconies i suppose. Having said that i wouldnt have wanted to sit there myself anyway. The reception area could do with a bell as sometimes it was a little deserted and on one occasion i was left waiting over 5 minutes while 2 staff carried on their conversation with me standing there. That only happened once admittedly and all the other times they were polite and attentive. They facilitated changing my room to one with a double bed, which was a vast improvement on the 2 single beds pushed together. The all inclusive element isnt too bad but the spirits included in this were not very nice. Wifi was a bit hit and miss but ok. Entertainment in the evening was quite good but guests all said they never knew if a show was on that evening or not as no big posters up in dinning area or reception. Staff overall were very polite and helpful. Food was to a good standard, coffee was questionable! We mainly went out for this. I'm basing my experience on many other good 4 star hotels i have been to in Spain, France and the UK. Its the details and little touches that make a 4 star hotel.
Very lovely hotel!
We stayed here for 7 nights in September. We had a fab time. Even in the midst of the Thomas cook collapse the staff still remained friendly and helpful. The bedrooms were always cleaned to a high standard. We had a problem with our air conditioning unit dripping but was fixed promptly. We only had day time entertainment for 3 days which was a shame but not the hotels fault, I'm sure once it's sorted will be just as good. I hope they manage to survive as its lovely. The only downside was that the food was never very hot, warm but not hot. Apart from that I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. Would definitely return. Thank you!
