Poor at Best

We stayed in a one bedroom plus (which has a Juliette balcony and costs more) for 3 weeks. Our first impressions of the space wasn't the "Be overwhelmed by the warmth, space and harmony of our holiday and corporate apartments." their website claims. Its on a very busy street, day & night traffic, loud motorcycles screaming by which meant the balcony doors stayed closed. Rooms were a stark white box without pictures, artwork, carpets or even enough table lamps. The lack of soft surfaces to absorb the constant noise was a problem. The tile floors of the hallways just amplified the slamming of doors and lack of sound proofing let us hear the couple in the above unit fighting and yelling at 5:30 in the morning. After day 5 our water heater broke and we had to move units - the only thing they had available without having the total inconvenience of repacking and moving to another one of their buildings - they gave us unit in the back without a balcony. Again no carpet, one table lamp and a microwave that only allowed 5 minutes of use before it shut off.
However the single biggest issue we had was their WiFi, with throttled speeds and unreliable connections meant you had to keep rebooting the modem. We are business owners and as such need access to remote portals to get things like payroll done. Thankfully we travel with our own personal global hotspot so we had back up. They claimed it was because it was an old building....aren't most buildings in the "historic centro" old? While the cafe up the street gave us over 160mbps download and an astonishing 160mbps upload! Overall the product needs to be refined, the 2 stars are only for their front office staff that really tried to make things better and were genuinely sorry for the experience, I'm not a hard ass, I only want the product I think I paid for. The 3 weeks there gave us the opportunity to look at other places and we've found a great little place with a terrace, checked it out in person and booked it for a month next year.

We found the apartment to be perfect for us. Great location and very comfortable. Marina was extremely helpful with navigating the city. Clean and spacious, sunday was better but still noisy until midnight.

Our firts visit to Pinar Apartments was a very postive experience. Well equiped kitchen, clean and roomy lving room, a narrow balcony, well equiped bathroom and nice bedroom. Located within walking distance from most interesting sites, with lots of small restaurants, shops etc, around the corners. Recommended!

The apartments are great and situated just on the edge of the old town. Beds are great and the apartments very modern with nice balconies along the front with a nice view of the goings on, people watching etc.
In saying that the apartments at the rear where are friends stayed where much quieter.
Not a big problem for me and the financial adviser - but may be a problem for others who sleep light. I would certainly stay there again if visiting the area. Great staff too easy check in and out. Little tip, if you do a left out of the apartments and walk around 200 mtrs there's a great little 'locals' bar called La Casual' nice little bar with friendly locals.
