Brilliant holiday at BlueBay
Writing this on my last day of holiday. Found this hotel staff to be friendly and welcoming with nothing being too much trouble. It has 2 lovely pools and lovely grounds. The food was fab, we went half board and also ate lunch at the outdoor restaurant every day. We were upgraded to a superior room due to the hotel being so quiet. I really couldn't find fault with the hotel
There were a lot of flies ngl and they did sometimes run out of my favourite dacquiris (the strawberry and passion fruit). But, I have to say what brings this review right up is ALBERTO. The waiter in the hotel was so passionate and caring. You could really tell he loved his job, the energy he brought and customer service was wonderful. He always had a serious attitude in the workplace, but would let off a little smile to people. He honestly made the time of day for people and I cannot thank your hotel enough for carrying out the greatest due diligence to hire such an amazing employee. Bar Alberto, the food was cold most of the time and the options were rather limited and not great in taste, but maybe that’s just me being fussy. I do think you should offer full-board as the drinks are expensive. But, a lovely location.
Disgusting with ants and rude staff
Rude staff, food has zero taste and cleaning is not proper also you need to pay for Wifi!!!!! Came to the reception to Bono he refused to call the manager as my room was full of ants and he thought it was normal... they didn’t care and still waiting for them to fix it! The restuerant the food is like German no taste and cheap Chinese fish! Please stay away if you like to relax
VERY RUDE STAFF !
I stayed in this hotel few years ago with my family and I really liked it. Unfortunately our second experience in this hotel changed our idea and we are really disappointed. We’ve been told that we had to pay to use the wi-fi, which I did and after I got to my room it stopped working ( basically this wi-fi only works in the lobby by the reception ), I went to the reception staff to ask for their help and to try to solve this issue, the receptionist ( oldest guy among them ) did not answer to my complaint and he immediately put the money on the reception desk and told me to take my money back in a very rude way. Ruined my mood and my stay.
Stayed at the blue bay in 2018
I loved the blue bay Banus that much that I’m going again with other family members this year. Had a lovely room with a balcony. The grounds were beautiful and well kept.There was a good selection of food for breakfast and evening meal.
