Starting from the good things, it has a very big space to put all your staff, the staff is very polite and helpful, they arrange for me taxi for arriving and departure, they call for motorbike so I would not needed to go and find one which is difficult. The air conditioner works perfect in both rooms, the pool is good so if you could not go to the beach you could have a swim there. They also provide you a welcome drink and 2 bottles of water is free of charge.
And the bad things, the kitchen had many ants so everything of food you have to protect it from them, I asked for the breakfast at 10, the one day she bring it 20 minutes earlier, the other day I asked it for 9 she came again earlier 30 minutes, the 2/4 beers and 2 juices in the fridge are expired. The breakfast is always the same and poor! The way to the main road is very calm so at night time it seems dangerous for me to go out, and of course if you don’t have motorbike you could not go anywhere, except you want to pay taxi.

We really enjoyed our time at Wanora. The pool is awesome and we loved floating around on the massive inflatables. Super clean with very friendly staff (the cleaner even showed us how to ride a scooter). Which we would recommend if staying here as it is just 5-10 minutes on a bike but around a 35/40 minute walk to the beach and Lamai centre which feels quite long in Thai heat. The owner got us a great bike and we really enjoyed our first scooter experience. We stayed here for 2 nights and would loved to have stayed longer. 5 stars!! We would 100% recommend this accomodation.

New and modern resort, very spacious rooms with separate kitchen and sleeping area. The bed is really comfortable , and very quiet air conditioning in all the rooms of the bungalow. The wonderful hotel swimming pool overlooked my bungalow. Great staff very helpful ..... absolutely good value for money !!
A terrible experience

We were thinking spending 3 months but booked first for 10 days for a trial. When we arrived, wifi was down for 3 days when we were tild at first it was pretty good. The reception told us only afterwards that wifi was always down, and so electricity was!! The TV wasn't working for almost a week either. When we opened the windows to get some fresh air, we realized that it was stinking a lot as there are old stagnating waters in the back of the place, which also brought a lot of mosquitos. This was also forgotten in the description made by the reception staff and the owner herself! Which, by the way, is a very rude lady who is arrogant on messages, not helpful at all and always denies the problems telling you to go find another place if not happy! Last but not least, there was a money issue at the end of our stay. The owner promised to gave us back a part of our deposit but changed her mind and refused to pay us back. We had to struggle again a lot to finally get our pay back as agreed. Last but not least, the owner had the delicacy to text my wife on Messenger in a very unpleasant manner, telling us to nover come back in her place. At least one point that we totally agree on....

We stayed in Wanora resort for 9 days with my husband and my 4.5yo daughter. The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly.
The pool is nice and clean as well!
There’s no restaurant but you can take a taxi (or NaviGo) or rent a motorbike and reach the main road in 5 minutes. We went by door every morning and it takes approximately 20minutes.
The only “bad” point is the breakfast, because it’s the same everyday. So after 3-4 days, we asked to have only the fruits and went to a French bakery that was on the main road...
Anyway, we highly recommend it... :-)
