Clean stay
We had originally booked at hotel at another place and when we got into the hotel is was full of roaches. We were able to book the room with super 8 so easy and it was very clean and the staff was amazing. I would most definitely recommended this place.
Not the best
We stayed here because road tripping and Florida Caverns was a stop. Bring disinfectant wipes because housekeeping was not on their game. Sheets and beds seemed clean and bleached. No cover on smoke alarm and no toilet paper but luckily I am an over packer
It can't be this hard to maintain a hotel!
On a long trip from Nevada to Florida, we wound up here. There's 3 other hotels next to this one, so we took the one less crowded. Price was not an issue as they were all comparable. We found out why people weren't staying here... The lobby had a musty smell to it, the clerk kept mumbling incoherently while registering us. The front doors were extremely filthy, and the lobby ceiling had several tiles missing with exposed plumbing repairs that had obviously soaked the ceiling tiles. Every surface that was exposed had not seen a cleaning in a very long time. We got two rooms, top floor, as FAR from the elevator as you can possibly get (in an empty hotel?) Seriously... Upon entering the rooms (non-smoking) I noticed a heavy, musty, cigar-ish smell, but we were exhausted, so we just dealt with it...The AC unit had two settings, hot and sticky, and frozen foods at the Piggly-Wiggly...still, the obvious smell of mold somewhere was very obvious. The bathroom was an adventure into minimum wage maintenance. The toilet seat was badly stained from overspray. The caulk at the base of the toilet was at least an inch high, and also yellow from missing the bowl. There had been a recent "remodel" of floor tile that was never cleaned up. The ceiling fan had large chunks of fuzz stuck to the grille. The wood trim "glued" to the mirror had warped and had dripping paint visible all over it. A drywall repair at the ceiling needed a bit of attention...Oh yeah, the half-used roll of toilet paper was a tad intimidating... Back in the room, we also noticed blood, or bug squish on the lampshade next to the bed...how appetizing... Anyways, on the way out, we took notice of all the wallpaper in the halls that was just "stapled" up at the ceiling...must have gone to a trade school to learn that little trick... To sum up this little adventure...I'll never set foot in this place again. Upon checkout, we got the standard mumbling from the clerk again, never did figure out what he was saying... As a Super 8 - Wyndham franchise, maybe someone from corporate should pay a little visit to this place before they let someone use their name/logo...
You get what you pay for, again
Old and needs a LOT of work. Tub dripped all night, roaches crawled out of sink when we arrived. Room had a wet, smelly aroma. Very busy motel, but overall was quiet thru the night. If you have low expectations for an overnight stay, you won't be disappointed. Front desk clerk was extremely friendly and helpful. On line clerk said breakfast was include, but it was not.

I wish I would’ve took pictures. This place needs some serious updates! We were trying to save some money while in town for a softball tournament. Never will I stay here again! Bedding & towels had stains. The shower pressure was terrible and only had lukewarm water at best. We only got two towels even though there were four of us, and when we left the room for the day and came back we still only had one clean towel left. The bed had to be at least 20 years old. I don’t think the room has been dusted for that long also. The only upside was Amy the lady that booked the room for me was very nice.
