Low-Risk budget friendly stay.

Our stay was quiet, front desk was courteous and professional both checking in and out. Our room was cooled upon arrival. Looks like the sink and toilet have been updated as well. Rooms are a bit small, but that's expected with an older motel building. Housekeeping needs to do a better job cleaning around the bed perimeters, I found an old half drunk coke bottle, children's sock and a facial moisturizer bottle around my bed from previous stays.
Above average for a Wyndham

I’m a former hotel desk manager so I’m probably picker than most about my stay. Upon arrival to the lemon yellow colored hotel, there were sketchy people smoking literally right in front of the door. The check in process was easy and the clerk was friendly. He made sure to tell us about the $250 fee if you smoke in the room but there’s no way they hold strictly to that policy. We were on the first floor and the smell of smoke in the hallway was so strong, it smelled like people were smoking that very moment right there. Upon entering our room it smelled very musty and had a stale smoke smell. I understand cigarette smoke is hard to get out of the rooms but an ozone machine would easily remove that smell. The room was acceptably clean though and the only issue we encountered was our remote battery dying but the front desk happily replaced. I don’t expect much from a $40 a night hotel so I can complain but if you have bad allergies or asthma or are a germaphobe, this isn’t the place. For a short weekend trip it did the part.
