Mistakes were made

Over charged for 2 rooms. Still trying to rectify one. Money taken out of bank account for 2nd room will take 3 to 4 weeks, but manager has said will be returned. Had a triple charge on that room but part of it was put back in account. Upon casual observation, it appeared to be clean. but it definitely needed some deep cleaning. The pool was closed. I give this property a 2 because of staff. Staff were awesome. Not what I expect from a Hilton property

We booked this hotel through priceline given it had a great rating and good reviews. NON -refundable but priceline rated it as an 8 point something. Not so much when we got there. An area of the pool ceiling had collapsed and drywall and insulation was hanging from ceiling and piled on floor. Wall paper was peeling in the room. The carpet had strips missing around the whirlpool tub. The light in ceiling didn't work, neither did the fan in the bathroom. The furniture had a bunch of the finish missing from it. The tile around the bathtub was moldy and falling off the wall with the wall paper. The bed looked clean, and was okay. The next morning we went for breakfast and they had unloaded the delivery truck into the dining area so that you couldn't really walk down one side. Passed on the breakfast with the way the room looked. Vending machine had only 2 selection(rest sold out) which came out hot. The ice machine also did not work(shocker). Overall very rundown. Cant believe this is a hampton inn, we have never had a bad room with them until now. Called Hampton corporate, only got a we will look into it.

I’ve stayed at Hampton inns for 15 years never have I stayed in one so nasty. Smell so bad! I paid 175.00 an then I had to pay another 50.00 when I got there I wouldn’t never stay at another Hampton inn. The bathroom walls had mold on them. Got locked in the indoor pool it was supposed to be heated so we could relax The ceiling was falling in. Had to wait for someone to come by to let us out. The water was 39 degrees it was freezing you would think you could relax. The beds were awful ! I will not go to another ine

Old and tired place

The room was clean. (End of good news.) Both chairs were swaybacked and worn-out. When I asked for a "local restaurant" where we could relax and be away from the chains, I was told that Marion had no such thing! The pretty indoor pool was closed. One lamp was missing a bulb and another had a blinking bulb. The closet door was broken and sagging. Due to a "supplier problem", there was no bar soap. Marion was, surprisingly, one of the most expensive Hamptons we've stayed in -- even though it is in a small town. Hilton should cut their losses and sell the place to the "no-tell" chain ASAP.
