EXCELENTE HOTEL Y PERSONAL
fui una semana maravilla, hotel y personal excelente, tiene la mejor vista en marmaris,la comida deliciosa también personal de restaurante son muy servicial, más srta. nuriye deveci, vamos a regresar el próximo año.
Buen hotel - con increible entretenimiento
Buen hotel con un entretenimiento increíble en especial gracias a CAGLA y Zac tuvimos una estancia muy agradable. En general la comida y las instalaciones cumplieron con las expectativas. Repetiremos seguramente
Not a 5*
we arrived early hrs of the morning to a lovely warm welcome. We checked in then was taken to our room but as it was dark we couldn't see our view but was pleasantly surprised when we pulled back the curtains and found we had a sea view yes it was blocked slightly by trees but still beautiful. ( some rooms looked onto another apartment's and had no view at all ) abit like prison blocks! From Saturday to Thursday the cleaning was awful in and around the buildings some areas being filthy! No hand sanitizer in the lifts floors dirty ect. But have to say the second week things seemed to change especially around the pool areas! On entry to the dining room your temperature was taken but was not taken from the guests that chose food from the barbecue which baffled me as they still sat inside ! On 4 occasions in 5 days we watched people go round the dinning area served their food whilst not wearing masks and the staff said nothing at all. The 2 pools had 20 sunloungers around each which is definitely not enough for the size of this complex. I watched people putting towels out at 6am around the pools and on the beach even though it stated it was not allowed and towels would be removed ect no one said or done anything! The food was OK the lobby area was lovely especially the little out door areas. Staff were great and you could see they worked very hard apart from a few (young girls) that would get annoyed and quite rude if you dare ask for a drink whilst they were busy on their phones lol. Be aware of the rip off hairdressers they charged me £46 for a wash and blow dry and eye brow threading which I was told the cost would be £26 !! And whilst in the salon with 2 other people and 2 other members of staff he told us all to take our masks off to which I declined but the other 2 in there took theres off 😯 Seriously this could be a lovely place with a little bit of tidying up and run properly! And good Management!! I understand covid has mad it very hard for many hotels ect! But cleanliness should have been a priority along with mask wearing and social distancing! Would i go back... definitely not.. and from talking to other guests who had been returning for years they said the same .
Hit & Miss
I Have recently returned from a two week stay at the Orka Lotus Beach & I have to say theres both good & bad points to this hotel. Obviously they are having to deal with the covid situation which they are doing to the best of there ability. The hotel is situated in one of the most beautiful bays I have ever visited, situated between Icmeler & Marmaris. The private beach is amazing with a gentle decline into the crystal clear sea. To take in the best veiws you can go up to the roof top Blue Bar Where you can enjoy the full panoramic veiw, amazing. This was my favourite place to sit & the service there especially from Nursel & Mahmet was brilliant, in fact non of my gripes with the hotel are down to the staff who were all very hard working & did everything they could to make sure my stay was a pleasant one. The entertainment area again was very good & in better times when dancing is aloud & disco is open will be brilliant. There are about 5/6 pools to choose from depending on what you want from your stay. A patisserie for tea & cake was a nice change & again great veiws from there. I visit the Chinese a la carte & enjoyed the food here which was piping hot. This brings me to the main restaurant which was disappointing not because the food was bad but because no matter what time of day I visited the food was luke warm at best. Now again this could be down to how you have to be served because of the covid restrictions but I'm not sure. I think there must be ways to keep it warm. The hotel is just a little tired & worn around the edges which I dont expect from a 5☆, & I cant understand in an age of tech that wifi is absolutely pants. By the way the hotel is huge & is very easy to take a wrong turn even when you now where things are. Thanks Charli on guest relations for helping me out. Overall I had a really enjoyable holiday & was worth a visit for the veiws alone hopefully I can visit again in the future Without covid restrictions to get the full experience of the hotel. An amazing stay - fab hotel. (Scrubs up well)
A great holiday and a good impression of a 4 star hotel operating under Covid 19 restrictions. Arrived after midnight found check-in to be quick and easy better still the reception bar was open 24 hours. Booked a side-sea view and were not disappointed. Room was modern, clean and new with excellent view. The hotel had many different styles of rooms and pools to suit everyone and a long stretch of beach with plenty of sunbeds and beach bars. Food was always available somewhere! Due to Covid however, you were not allowed to hold your own plate in main dining hall. Service was via a member of staff from the counter - the problem we encountered THE SIGNAGE was TOO SMALL and it was difficult to see what food was on offer. The highlight of the food was the A la Carte experience. We tried both the Chinese and Turkish restaurants. The standard of choice, taste and presentation of food along with service was exceptional. The Manager Bilal Hazar and his staff are a credit to Hotel. Nothing was too much trouble they aimed to please - Make sure to use! The Patisserie, with amazing views of surrounding area, served coffee and an wide selection of pastries and cakes from 10.00 till 17.00 and around 14.00 freshly made baguettes. Drinks were good and plentiful but you had to pay for Premium drinks such as Baileys (not always available though). The rooftop bar was a fabulous place to relax and on occasions there was a singer/guitarist who was sure to get you singing along and the blue lighting added to the whole experience. The staff driven by Rachel Ozdemir (from Barnsley) really did try to serve and please all the guests. Temperature checks were taken every time you went for food in dining area and entered Hotel from outside and there was a 24 hour doctor on site. The location of Hotel is excellent as it is a short walk into Icmeler and bit longer into Marmaris via the beach Promenade. Our only criticism was the Wifi - not the best, only usually worked in reception area and even then not the best. To sum up - Very Good Hotel, excellent location, great staff and all trying hard! The abnormal reviews sometimes given are wide of the mark - they need to factor in changes driven by safety concerns for all.
