Excellent accommodation

Superb place - beautifully designed rooms that were spotless and with good bathrooms. Friendly, courteous and really superbly helpful staff. A delight to stay with. Our room was so nice that I struggled to get my son to leave. Rooftop was great for breakfast and for relaxing in the evening.

Terrible location, very inconvenient, lonely, noisy and dirty to get to

This Riad is not in an ideal location and I would definitely Not recommend staying here. Getting to the Riad requires navigating through long, lonely and extremely dirty alleyways, that smells of animal waste. It was very treacherous getting to the Riad especially at night. Lots of noise with people hanging out in the alleys at night. The rooms were extremely small especially for a couple and the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. We attempted to speak with the owner since we were booked to stay there for 5 nights and wanted to leave after the first night. We offered to pay the owner up to 50% of our booking but he said even if we stayed just one night, we would still need to pay for the full 5 nights. We ended up paying the full amount and leaving for another Riad at a much better location.

Fabulous place to stay!

If you're struggling to choose a hotel/riad in Marrakech, do not hesitate to book Riad Boussa. My best friend and I are pretty well travelled, but this trip was our first since lockdown and our first to Morocco. We took a long time choosing somewhere to stay and we're so thrilled we chose Riad Boussa! The location is perfect and an easy 5 minute walk to Jemaa El Fna Square. However, once you pass through a fairly unassuming front door, inside it's utterly peaceful and relaxing. The building really is beautiful with gorgeous oils subtly scenting the air. We had the Limoun room which has 2 comfy double beds (one on a mezzanine) so plenty of room and a good size bathroom for 2 girls planning lots of shopping! Breakfast is traditional Moroccan, very tasty and filling, and served on the roof terrace each morning. There are also sunbeds & a covered area here if you want to relax. However, it was host Ahmed who really made our stay - he was so welcoming and took time showing us the city map, recommending places to visit, shops we might like etc, as well as what to be aware of/avoid. He booked the most fabulous spa afternoon for us at KosySpa (best scrub & massage ever) and amazing restaurants, with every night somewhere different. He arranged pick up & drop off at the airport and we had the same driver for a private tour out to the Atlas Mountains. We also met Sarah, the new owners' daughter who was also super helpful and friendly. We genuinely felt like we made friends here and were deeply sad to leave. We were so well looked after - we're already planning return trips for later this year!

We couldn't have stayed at a better place in Marrakech!

Riad Boussa is a wonderful calm cosy place! Ideal for our first trip to Marrakech. The Riad is superbly decorated, the room very comfortable and the breakfast a delightful start to the day. Over a welcoming tea Brigitte gave us a map and pointed out places to eat, visit and the best ways of moving around this wonderful city. Nothing was too much for her assistant Ahmed who always made us feel very welcome. We will recommend it to our friends and relatives

A perfect place to stay in Marrakech! Ahmed was an amazing host and ensured we had everything we needed and more- the food was phenomenal and accommodated to food allergies individuals in our group had. Great attention to detail!
