Opinión escrita el 20 de Julio de 2019
The property is decent.Staff is sure not down home East Texas folks but are attentive. The accommodations are medium, not bad,not great.Just an average Econolodge. All in all a good place to get a shower & good nights sleep.I would stay again.

Been staying in area at all hotels and motels, if you have kids, and are seeking shelter, mind you it's not a very scenic area, as it is right up on the highway, STAY HERE!!! Not only clean and quiet, also comfortable and QUIET.
Economical & Comfortable

Girlfriends weekend to visit Museum & Antique Shops in nearby Jefferson, TX. Chose this place for economical reasons. Very impressed with how clean the rooms were. They appear to be recently remodeled. We even had free wifi, a little refrigerator and microwave. Free continental breakfast with the best waffles shaped like Texas. No meat but selection of pastries and cereal. The outside pool is small but was crystal clear and very clean. Overall very pleased with our stay at Econo Lodge in Marshall.
Great value and good location

Stopped at the Econo Lodge in Marshall driving home to Mississippi. The hotel was clean and conveniently located off of I-20. The room had all the items that we like, such as fridge, microwave and a nice tv. There's a gas station within walking distance, if any supplies are needed, but I really didn't notice any fast foot restaurants. This is a great stopping point, if heading east from Texas on I-20, because there aren't really many hotel options between Shreveport and Monroe, LA. Will stop here again when in the area.
Silly event messed up half the stay

A comprehensive TV system was in the room, but it had a tendency to require a channel scan to keep working. I asked the front desk for help on this soon after i checked in, and the manager came right away and fixed it in a second--no problem, But when the same happened hours later, when I had just got back and wanted to relax, the youthful but mealy-mouthed front desk kid indicated by phone was coming right down, but took his time, apparently reluctant to let new check ins wait for just a moment--which is all it took when he did get to the room. He couldn't or wouldn't be any quicker, even though it was 101 outside and I was tired, wanting to relax.
I let him know that I would report this. Rest of the experience was OK, I guess, although coffee was awful all weekend.
