Great place to stay

Recently stayed at this hotel, by far the best hotel I've stayed in
Super friendly staff, Tiffanie the front desk employee was so nice and helpful,
When I got to my room and looked around I was very pleased to see my room was spotless, had a clean smell in the air, the housekeeper Orleen did an amazing job in that room it looked like she had deep cleaned it. Bed was comfortable
Went down for breakfast and it was so good, everything hot and fresh, the breakfast attendant Cindy was very nice as well, chatted with me asking how my morning was going and if I've enjoyed my trip to town which was very nice of her to ask and care.
Over all the hotel was super clean and smelled good also, the staff is amazing and the pool room was a nice touch, the water was heated and they even have a hot tub. I highly recommend this hotel
" Hotel stay from hell"

I have stayed at this hotel pre covid and had no issues. I came back with my family for a vacation . If there is an event going on, then parking is hard to find. There was a wedding and other event going on and had issues with parking. There is no where for guest to park when that happens. The room I was giving was horrible. The amount of dust looked like nobody stayed in room for months, the floor was not clean. I had to ask the hotel desk for a vacuum and cleaning supplies so that I could clean my room before My family and I felt comfortable to sit down. There are stains on the sofa of something I don't even want to know what it was. Trash was sitting in the hallways, one night the fire alarm went off and still don't know why but that will startle you and your family awake from your sleep I went to speak with Manager Chelsea the next day about the issues we were experiencing and she told me well we are understaffed, sold out and even I had to clean rooms myself with an attitude. When I asked if my room was cleaned she said well we change the linens and towels . She had the nerve to tell me if you are not happy I can check you out and you can go somewhere else. She treated us like we were not worthy of staying because I have a special travel agent rate I pay and she said all snotty I am sure you can find another hotel somewhere for that price. I told her that was hard at this pint since they had a hold on my card that would take days to come off. I said that is not an option for us to check out, what are we suppose to do , sleep in our car and she just said with such a stern look , well if you like you can. She showed no remorse or even apologized for our experience. Especially during a pandemic these rooms should be top priority for guest and be very well cleaned. I would not recommend to any of my clients to stay at this property. No matter what time of year or issues you are having, you always treat guests with kindness and be understanding. It is not the guest fault and they don't need to understand your staff shortage. I have to say though the nicest people I met working there were the cleaning ladies, they were very sweet and doing their best to keep up with being just the 3 of them. Even some of the staff told us this hotel is going down hill. Marriott needs to do an inspection of this hotel and send that manager back to customer service training.
great location excellent staff

Let me start by saying in what seems to be a lifetime ago I was a regional director for a major Hotel business. The front staff at this location is excellent. They are very professional, well trained, engaging and VERY accommodating. The housekeeping staff is the BEST bar none. Despite being very short staffed Carol and her staff get everything done are go beyond the call. Due to short staffing levels the hot breakfast and evening social are not in play at this time. However, the pool and spa are open to all. Oh, and I would be remiss if I did not mention the director of maintenance, Dennis. He keeps this place up and running.
The grab and go breakfast is excellent and plenty of it. The location is right at US 23 which will get you to 475 and I-75 and you are able to get to pretty much anywhere you need to go in the greater Toledo area in a matter of minutes. This is a very pet friendly property and there is abundant space to walk your pets. There are several restaurants within walking distance.
My wife and I have stayed at this property several times and are very satisfied. Chelsa the GM is great as is the entire front staff, If you choose this property you will not be disapointed.
disappointing and no where near up to standard

We were prepared for a grab and go breakfast. However, there was no decaf coffee and when asked the surly response from staff was to go back to the room. In spite of the statements about continual cleaning we found garbage (food and containers) on a stairwell on a Tuesday. This pile kept growing until it finally disappeared on Friday. Obviously no staff had been in the stairwell for at least 3 days.

We have stayed at this hotel several times, twice more recent. It was great each time, but this time we got Chastity. She was wonderful from start to finish and always with an awesome attitude, never gripped or complained about all our ?'s or the 20 trips back & forth to the pool. 😆 Chastity was my grandson's favorite & ours if u can't tell by now. The staff amazing, hotel very nice, rooms were very clean and super comfortable, breakfast great variety, pool very nice, maintenance (had tiny sink problem) fixed it immediately. Chastity was right on it to send them up. We had such a wonderful stay that we are going for our 4th trip, we do it to get away and relax and let my daughter (36) and grandson (11) be kids and have fun for a while! Big thanks to all that make that happen😃 see ya'll next trip!!
