Hilton Honors Members Beware
As long time Silver Members, we have always received nice benefits: free water bottles, discounted prices, and occasionally, complimentary upgraded rooms. This is all part of being Silver, and the next level offers even more. But not so at this hotel. When inquiring about receiving our complimentary water bottles, we were told that we were close to the next level (Gold), but not there yet to get them. This is not what the Hilton Honors site details for Silver Members. It was a somewhat cool reception we received. Upon arriving, we were not acknowledged at all as Hilton Honors members. I had to look at our reservation to make sure our membership standing was listed, which it was. The room was very clean, and the bed comfortable. However, it is an older hotel where the rooms do not have USB ports. Be sure to bring your own.
Every year
We stay one weekend every fall. The staff is minimal which is difficult but they work so hard. They are always friendly and helpful. I can’t compliment the staff enough. They are so great. Stay here!!!
Clean Comfortable and what you would expect at a HGI
The Hilton Garden Inn was clean, comfortable, good service and what you would expect from this brand. The restaurant was closed so breakfast was a few options at the front desk and no bar service. Smokin Qs BBQ and Beer House as well as Alfredo's at the Inn are good restaurant choices near the hotel. Alfredo's is in the Holiday Inn. Nice stay but look forward to when the restaurant re-opens.
Exceptional stay!!
We were in Cleveland for 2 weeks and stayed here for the first time. We could not have been happier with this hotel. It was very clean, beds were really comfortable but more than that, the staff was amazing. Joanne who worked the evening shift was just an absolute pleasure to talk to every evening. She was so caring about my daughters reason to be there and went out of her way to help us and make us feel welcomed. The rest of the staff was nice as well, Joanne was just the one we saw the most. We highly recommend this hotel!!
Superb service
This was a repeat visit. We have stayed here several times over the years. The property is beautifully maintained and the staff has some of the best people to be found in the hotel business. That was especially the case on this visit due to the covid 19 pandemic. The room looked like it had been “pressure cleaned”. The staff was constantly wiping things down with disinfectant. Everyone was in masks and gloves, but the friendliness and courtesy shone through. That goes a long way toward reassuring nervous guests that this is a safe place to stay. We certainly appreciated it.
