Horrible Customer Service
Opinión escrita el 12 de Julio de 2021
First off, I use Marriot whenever I can. I am a loyal Elite customer and always enjoy their properties. I have stayed at many Fairfields so know what to expect and am usually perfectly fine.
I am a traveling nurse and on assignment at a nearby hospital so typically stay here or at the Courtyard across the street depending on the rates (sometimes it's actually lower). Usually I stay here because it's cheaper and have had no issues until my recent two stays. During my last stay (7 nights), after checking into my room I could hear loud music/bass coming through the walls. I got in very late and really didnt have the energy to deal with it. I fell asleep eventually as, even though I was tired, the music was annoying. I woke up early the ext morning for work and the music was STILL going. Weird, I thought. 12 hours later I return and its STILL on just as loud. I finally call the front desk and tell them the issue. They tell me that they will call the room. 30 minutes later and music continues. I call again. She acts surprised and states she came up and heard nothing. Either she's hard of hearing or lying. I walked out to the hallway and can hear it just the same as in my room. She then tells me she will look into it again. Eventually I fall asleep... after getting over the constant thumping of the bass. Next day its the same issue. I complain in person at the front desk when I return from work and that person says she'll come up with me and take a look. NOW we're getting somewhere. She comes up, agrees she hears it but can't make it into the room. She said she programmed the card wrong and that I can continue to my room and she'd be back. Nothing. Again. Another night of trouble falling asleep. Finally, the next day (DAY 3 of this issue), a new lady up front explains that the lock on that room is broken and no one can get in. IT TOOK THREE DAYS FOR SOMEONE TO TELL ME THAT?? She offers me a new room. AFTER THREE DAYS of complaining and telling me they'd look into it and were leaving messages with the manager. I STILL haven't heard from said manager. Point of the story, if you have a problem here, dont expect much help.
My second issue is with my current stay. I booked a King Studio. Check in this evening, and was given a Standard King. Return to the front desk and they just tell me there's no King Studios left and just stare at me. I PAID for a Studio. After pressing they give me a Queen Studio. That's fine, doesn't matter. BUT, if I hadn't pressed the issue I would have paid more for a standard room and no one offered any type of compensation or apology. I talked to someone with Marriot and was told that some to a Studio is still considered a "standard" room even if you pay extra for it and that no type of compensation or such should be expected. And without a pause, "is there anything else you need?" Again, poor customer service. Not the Marriot experience that I am used to after all the nights that I spend with them.

We were going to stay here for a night while visiting Atlanta for business. Unfortunately we didn’t end up staying here.
When I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted by an intense smell of hairspray or perfume. This gave me an instant migraine and chest tightness. This smell was also in the hallways of the hotel. It was everywhere!! They definitely were trying to cover something up.
I cancelled my reservation and literally ran away from this hotel. Marriott definitely needs to take their name off this hotel, it was awful!!
If you love the smell of intensely strong perfume, this place is for you, if not RUN AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!!!

First off, this is a Fairfield. As a Marriott Titanium member, I have stayed in quite a few Fairfield Inns and Suites across the country. Fairfield Inns and Suites are fairly consistent. Rarely do you find a bad one and rarely do you find an exceptional one. This one is average. Our room was clean and generally comfortable. The bed was typical. The pillows were hard. The desk staff seemed disinterested. I usually have better luck with Courtyards, but this one was rated higher and cheaper. It served the need, but don't expect too much.

Let me start by saying, as a loyal Marriott customer & a former Marriott employee, I have stayed at many locations in & out of the country, but this experience was by far the worst I’ve ever had at any Marriott hotel. My husband & I had stayed at this location in 2018 & had a great experience which is why I chose to stay here again. First let me start out with the positive. Kenisha at the front desk was very nice, engaging & attentive! Now on to the negative. After getting checked in, I went back to my car to get my bags & parked on the right side of the building & to use side entrance but a note on the door said “out of order”. No big deal. I thought maybe they were doing this because of COVID & want everyone to use the front entrance. Now understand, when you walk into the lobby, it smells of Pinesol & bleach, but as soon as you turn the corner & onto the elevator, it’s a different story. The elevators were dirty. I don’t mean just the carpet, I’m talking about dirty as in pieces of trash on the floor. When I got into the room & sat my bags down, I went into the bathroom, I instantly got disgusted. The toilet bowl had not been cleaned. It had residue of feces stuck on the inside of the commode which means the last time the housekeeping staff cleaned, they didn’t clean inside of the commode. The trash cans were empty, but the counters were filthy & I’m not exaggerating, I’m talking about food stuck on the counters. Being in the industry I currently work in, I always come prepared. I didn’t want to be a butt hole & ask for another room, so I pulled out my Clorox wipes & wiped the entire room down & threw away the empty plastic bag that was left on the dresser from the last guest. The floor hadn’t been vacuumed, but again, not going to make a big deal because I don’t walk around in my socks, let alone barefoot. I went back down to my car to get some more things & decided to try the side entrance on the left side of the building. Normally you would have to use your key to get in the other entrances, but nope, the door is wide open which means anyone can just walk into the hotel. Fast forward to later on that night when I got ready to get in the bed. I pulled the cover back & noticed their was hair on the sheets. At first I thought I was tripping, but then I leaned over & said oh heck naw, these sheets are dirty. And I’m not talking dingy, I’m talking dirty as in stains on the sheets. That was it! I called the front desk & asked if housekeeping was gone for the day because the sheets were dirty. The response I received was, “you can come to the front desk & get new sheets or wait until housekeeping comes in the morning.” Who in their right mind would sleep on sheets with ketchup stains & hair on them? Of course I’ll come get them & make the bed up myself. The crazy part is, when I 1st checked in the room, the bed was actually made up. Like really? How do you make a bed when you can clearly see the sheets are dirty. At this point, I didn’t even trust the shower. I washed up in the sink the next day & just decided to wait until I got home to take a shower. The ONLY positive thing about the room was the bed was very comfortable. Out of all the Marriott properties I’ve stayed at, I have NEVER left a negative review, because I’ve never had a bad experience, but I will NEVER come back to this location again.

We are staying for one night while traveling home from Kentucky to Florida with an 11 month old and a 6 year old and just needed a quiet place to get off the road and rest. We had nothing but trouble with this Fairfield Inn. When we got in around 4 p.m. our room wasn't ready and we had to wait in the lobby with kids running around for almost an hour. Then there was a party booked in their conference room that they allowed a DJ to play music so loudly just below our room that the walls and floor were literally vibrating still at 9:30 at night and we could here every word of the music even after the front desk told us they would have to "turn down the music at 9." It woke up my infant and my 6 year couldn't go to sleep because it was so loud! I have never dealt with such a poorly managed hotel and will not be staying here again!
