Hotel Casa Nuevo León - great position

We can’t rate Casa Nuevo León highly enough. All the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and efficient. The room was great with an extremely comfortable large bed, great coffee and kept very clean. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
Five stars , Fantastic ++++++ superb location , friendly.

Fantastic small hotel in the wonderful bohemian district of Condesa. The hotel is absolutely spot on. Our room was absolutely splendid in every respect - large , clean and airy with a wonderful huge bath. Excellent friendly cafe bar with en terasse seating + a lovely place to just sit and have a cold beer and watch the world go by! The area of Condesa is really beautiful with wonderful green parks within a couple of minutes walk. Omar ( named after Omar Sharif) is a really excellent owner / manager and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. He organised our long distance taxis and many other things. Stay here with confidence + a really great place

Great Place! Is in the center of condesa area and they are always happy to help you. They have a little café and bar downstairs. Staff is very kind and the room is clean and nice. If I go back I will stay here
Nice hotel in a nice area in the middle of some really nice upgrades.

The hotel seems to be making some really great upgrades. Furniture in all the rooms was really nice, the bedding was nice and plush, the showers/water, electrical, internet, all good. Many TVs are new and have good Sky reception. The soaps in the room smell nice, their coffee bar thing was nicer than any hotel I’ve stayed in bc they had a cute pour over setup. Despite all that there was some room for improvement: - They don’t seem to put a top sheet on the beds unless you ask. - The safety boxes are large and can fit a laptop, but they aren’t bolted down…… whats the point? - Our room had a visible gap in the ceiling at the crawl space. We could see fiberglass insulation in that space sitting above our bed. This was really not good. Couple other notes that travelers may want to know but aren’t really the hotels deal. - You don’t need HVAC in Mexico City, but the rooms don’t have it; for really sensitive people. There is a nice, stylish fan in the room. - Parking in the neighborhood is tight. If you bring a car you likely need to plan ahead somehow. Id suggest the hotel restaurant consider adding some sort of appetizers to the menu or maybe one largish appetizer plate with some variety. We wanted to get little nibbled to eat worth a beer between getting our group together or like a one hour down time, but didnt because we had to choose between just a beer and a full meal.

This new hotel in the Condesa neighborhood has a great staff and perfect location for exploring the city. The lobby cafe serves a tasty breakfast (not included in cost) and there is a rooftop to relax and enjoy. As others have noted, the rooms themselves are pretty minimal. I stayed in a double room on the first floor, the bed was super comfortable but we had to request things like body wash and trash bags. There was a basic floor fan which helped but the room did get pretty stuffy. I think they might need to add window units to make the rooms more comfortable in the summer. In terms of noise, our room didn’t get blasted by it but I could see how others might. I would recommend packing slippers and noise cancelling ear buds. Great value for the neighborhood!
