What a poophole

Room was laughingly shabby. Peeling wallpaper and shoddy chipping furniture. Bathroom had mold and no vent fan. No remote for the 32” TV. 2 of the wall mounted lamps weren’t working. LITERALLY had prostitutes working the hallways. Staff was obtuse to the problems at best.

Good Place to Sleep/Good Price

Reviewed 13 june, 2021

Had a nice stay at Motel 6. For the price (lowest in the area) and looking for a place to sleep this motel checked those marks. It was reasonably clean and comfortable...the furniture and carpets were a bit worn and, when first walking in the room, there was a cannabis-like smell. Not a bad place to crash for the night.

This place is awful! Bed is like a concrete slab with lumps, wall paper peeling off wall, sink falling apart, shower rod pulling out of the wall, furniture looks like it hasnt been updated in years and phone doesn’t work! Never staying here again. I get it’s budget but this awful!

What a complete dump!

The only good thing was that they let me check in early, but I almost wish I hadn't. The toilet welled way up and I had to take the top off the tank to make sure it would flush. The faucet handle was dirty. The furniture was dinged up. The desk chair was completely rusty (I will take photos). There is no coffee, coffeemaker, and no hot beverage cups. I had to ask for cold beverage cups. There was no toilet paper so I grabbed some from the housekeeper's cart. two of the three lamps did not work: it was not bulbs; the switch to turn them on or off would not move or function. The TV, lamps, microwave and fridge all plug into a power strip hiding behind the bureau. Someone is smoking and had the hall window wide open in 40 degree weather. Which brings me to the clientele. Some of them live here. Most of them are people you might wanna avoid on a dark street. And I don't mean black. I mean all of them. Loud, stupid, crude, coarse and begging me for a spare cigarette. It's not exactly cheap here, but I am thinking you need to close, redecorate and charge a lot more to stay in business. I'm local, and occasionally I need a room to get some quiet work done. I won't be back.

Be Careful

Reviewed 14 october, 2020

I hate to complain about a business especially in these times, but Motel 6 has gone down hill over the last several years. When the toilet refused to work, we advised the front desk clerk who promised to have it looked at. When we returned in the evening it still refused to work. The same man was working and told us it had been fixed. When questioned his story changed and asked if we wanted to change rooms. It was a remarkably unpleasant stay and for the first time and be well assured it was the last time, neither of us felt safe.
