Great hotel in Miraflores!

Reviewed 14 march, 2022

We had a super nice stay at Hotel Hábitat. Williams from the reception was very helpful with everything we needed. The location was great with only a minute walk to Parque Kennedy. Breakfast was quite nice too. We will definitely stay here again!

A Stressful Stay

Reviewed 22 november, 2019

Initial check-in went poorly as I had been hung-up on three times via international phone calls to inform them of our 15-hour flight delay. I was understandably upset. Our room was a converted something-or-other with a huge window looking into the bathroom from the bedroom. It had a huge spa tub whose jets didn't work and was otherwise unusable due to the very-low water pressure. The mildew on the carpet was horrible, leaving our bare feet and shoe bottoms black. The mildew smell was difficult to bare even with the room window open. Our room faced the adjoining building under renovation and the noise was 24/7. The super-King bed was a welcome relief from all the long-distance walking we did. The breakfast was, well, uhhhhh .......... disappointing to say the least. We had to buy cold milk at the nearby market for my cornflakes-only cereal choice as the milk provided was hot milk. No French toast or pancakes, no bananas or fresh fruit except for diced Papaya, no bacon. The OJ was OJ-flavored water. The dining room had ONE salt/pepper shaker for all to share. The cereal spoons were tiny teaspoons. The only eggs provided were scrambled eggs. On the plus side, the lone dining room worker always smiled and accommodated the patrons when possible. The extra-helpful, friendly staff were a welcomed plus as well. This property is well-located with food choices and shopping just outside the hotel. Overall, I cannot recommend this property due to the unsafe mold/mildew, low water pressure and street/construction noise.

Nice clean hotel in Lima

Reviewed 25 october, 2019

Pros : Nice hotel, clean and comfy room, walking distance to Miraflores shopping centre. The staff were very friendly. Cons : I asked for an Iron and water kettle but they refused to provide me with either of them which I found abit odd....

Construction at 7am and smelled like BO

Reviewed 18 october, 2019

First the good. Aside from one rude receptionist the staff was all very lovely. The rooms are a modest size but have a king bed and giant jacuzzi tub. It’s also pretty clean. The bad. Had to change rooms because my first room smelled so badly of BO and mold. It wasn’t coming from the sheets though as those smelled clean. When i politely asked to change rooms the receptionist was really rude about it which I found strange. Then when I came back later there was someone else behind the desk and they were very nice. The giant jacuzzi tub didn’t work. You could fill it with water but the bubbles don’t turn on. Now the biggest thing. CONSTRUCTION. Loud construction literally outside your window which is almost next to your head every morning starting at 7. Photo attached.. Why on earth no one would mention this when you’re booking the room is beyond me. They should have closed during construction or had their crews start at 9. Maybe in two years it’ll be done and nice. I won’t be returning or recommending.

Hotel in Miraflores - 1 night stay

Reviewed 23 september, 2019

I reserved an Executive Suite for one night and arrived close to midnight. The hotel looks nice and it is well located. The room assigned to us had a very bad moldy smell and I asked to change rooms. The next room also smelled moldy but it was not as bad as the first. The breakfast is very plain and the internet is super slow. There is a big construction right next to the hotel and at 7am the noise was unbearable, we saw a big crane right outside our window. What annoyed me the most was their check out policy at 11 am. Most hotels have check out at 12 noon and often allow to extend to 1pm. I will not return to this hotel nor recommend to any of my friends.
