The staff was very courteous. I loved the Complimentary Breakfast. I will definitely stay At Hampton Inn again. I like that there was a fridge and microwave in the room that was very convenient. If you are traveling to the Mobile, Al area I would definitely recommend Hampton Inn.

Pros: Nice property, rooms clean and beds comfortable. Cons: Desk clerk had lots of attitude, not happy that I didn't want to use the app to access parking. Parking is self park and costs $9. She had to write out a parking pass. As others have mentioned, breakfast is a bit lean, but adequate. Worst part was waiting over 45 minutes to check out at 8:30 in the morning. Only one of two elevators working. Too many guests for 1 elevator and the stairs exited to the street. Staff didn't seem to care Probably won't come back
Simply saved by the manageress - and their many vending machines

We arrived here late at night driving all the way from St Louis, delayed only because some nutter did not know how to drive and in order to avoid an accident we were forced into a side road out of the motorway - I was honestly scared being in those small streets with no street lights and thankfully we found a way back onto the motorway taking us to this hotel. The first impression was of a clean cut hotel only shadowed by a large girl with big hair who kept gesticulating as if trying to help you yet going outside to deal with some 'brothers': I found this very un-professional bordering just a rude attitude. What was she thinking? However, as soon as we stopped into the room, however tired and hungry we were, we did not even bother going out to nearby restaurants. Thankfully the hotel has lots of vending machines in the reception area, from the great Chinese food you find in any USA supermarket to sweets/drinks/snacks etc - this is a great idea which more hotels should have!!! The suites itself 706 was massive, over looking the quiet car park and I had a simply great night sleep. The breakfast is inclusive, however rather limited and the manageress was eager to help upon detailing the arrival incident. The car park fee is extra and although the people we came across looked a bit dubious, for European standards, apart from some brief shouting we heard no more noises. There is a small swimming pool with families on a budget eager to take it for themselves and their screaming kids and destroy according to their liking, if you feel like daring into this adventure which we avoided. Apart from this I highly recommend this hotel, only because of the lovely manageress - professionalism and a positive attitude always leave a better impression than night receptionists more interested in their long nails and talking as if they invented the universe.
Stay away from here

They accused me of smoking in the room with my kids, which I don't even smoke I was charged $250 , just trying to take my kids on a educational trip and spend time with all of this foolishness going on msnger Teresa was very rude hung up the phone in my face because I tried to explain I didn't do what I was accused of if your trying to enjoy a family trip don't go here . I'm so upset that it's sad I regret visiting this hotel, it's not what you did IT'S WHAT THEY SAY YOU DID.

The price and accommodations were great. The rooms and the hotel were very clean. The staff was amazing, I would definitely stay here again. The only issue was they didn’t offer room service, but there are plenty of restaurants in the area.
