Unforgettable!
I'm writing to express my excitement of what I have experienced during my short , but unforgettable stay at your magical hotel. I've heard before that The Ritz-Carlton is a special place, a must-see and a must-stay corner of any city where it is located, and I was lucky enough that you were in Moscow, when I got married. There is no better place to imagine to celebrate such an important event in one's life, and it's not about the place itself, though the room , the view, and the building are all wonderful - it is about the people who make this place a special one. It all starts when you enter the lobby, you can clearly feel that something special is happening now, because the Ritz-Carlton team meets and greets you not because it is their job, but because they meet and greet you, because they care and they really want to make you feel safe and comfortable, and they are proud of how good they are. There is a certain feeling while you're inside, even after you've checked out of the hotel, which still makes me smile, and I want to thank you for that. I know you've probably had hard days during this pandemic, like every business in any country of the world, but you keep your highest standards, and I'm sure you always will. Hard days come and pass, but the legacy which you have created and which you keep building daily will always be with you. I wish you all the best, Sherif and your team, anyone who met us at the hotel, or chose the bottle of champagne or fruits, who cleans the pool every night and wipes the dust off the tables while guests are asleep - please keep up creating the unforgettable memories for all your guests, everyone deserves to experience what we have experienced, at least once per life.
Just great
Very good hotel, the location is good, it’s very close to the Red Square, only one underground passage distance, convenient for shopping and dining, most of staff is thoughtful and polite, room is tidy and clean

Poor judgement from doorman
I stayed at Ritz Moscow for 14 nights (2/8 - 2/22) for my business trip. I have a local friend in Moscow and we decided to check the nearby bar on a weekend (2/15). I was coming back to the hotel at 2 am and the revolving door at the entrance didn’t work, the maintenance guys were fixing something on top. For a second I was confused where the other entrance and looked at the door man and his response was ”Zabludilas?” (Got lost?) in a very mean way. I didn’t expect this kinda service at Ritz. Otherwise, front desk was always nice and other people at front door during the day were always nice. But that experience still left the negative effect on me for the rest of my stay. Another negative experience was when I checked-out, there was a charge on my bill for the Novikov restaurant on 2/14, which I never visited especially on that date. That day my co-workers and I ordered the room service because all restaurants were booked in the hotel and at nearby places that we tried to call. So my advice, check your charges especially if you are there for extended stay.
Our stay at Ritz-Carlton Moscow
We enjoyed staying at Ritz-Carlton Moscow! We arrived in the city very early, but the staff was very helpful and nice, allowing us to check in much earlier than our booking time. We had breakfasts, cocktail time and dinners in a number of restaurants and bars located in the hotel and we really liked the food and drinks. On top, the service was just wonderful, the staff was polite and friendly. We would recommend to refurnish the lobby area to make it look more modern. On the other hand, maybe it is the style of the hotel and just not to what we get used. The location of the hotel is just perfect and a short walking distance to the Red Square, The Central Art Gallery, main malls TSUM and GUM and many other beautiful places. Overall, we would highly recommend this marvelous hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy his/ her stay in Moscow. We felt home there!
