So So
We stayed here during the world cup in Russia for 4 nights and the stay was ok. The rooms were small but clean and cozy. The breakfast was included in the stay though it was not really good. They do not have much option for vegetarians. Location is good since it is close to the space museum and close to the main underground metro station which can take you to the center in 30 mins. All in all book this hotel if there is no other option.
So and so
Good side: close to the vdnh and fairs centre, walking distance to metro VDNH, good price, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Bad side: soviet style old hotel old numbers poor breakfast Wi-Fi not working. If you miss USSR you Will feel home😁😁
Bad Customer service, breakfast not worth it, no air cond, old furniture
When I arrived at Hotel, reception said my booking was in another building, across the road. I went there carring my bags and I found totally different hotel from pictures on booking.com. It was very old and not clean, and there was no lift at 1st floor. I refused to stay there and asked to stay in the main building where I paid for. Reception called some supervisor who speaks better english but she said would take a day to take a decision. The main building was not fully booked and I couldn't belive such poor customer service. I had to leave my bags on reception room and paid 100rubles for that, having a booked room. I traveled to another city Kazan to watch World Cup match and paid another hotel to sleep that night. when I back they didn't have a decision yet. I stayed at reception for hours talking by phone with supervisors till they gave me the cheapest room in the main building. That room didnt have air conditioner what for me was a surprise for a 3stars hotel. My booking was for double bed 2persons. My wife arrived next day and when we went to breakfast they didn't allow my wife to eat saying my booking was for 1 person. Again ring supervisor and we stayed standing waiting for decisions, finally after few minutes they agreed they wer wrong and gave my wife breakfast card. The food was the same everyday and we didn't like and most of days decided not to eat. Breakfast from 7am to 10am. One day we arrived 9:30am and hotel had new guests then we couldn't find cheese on breakfast to eat. So I asked them and they said finished, no more cheese. I explained the girl that I'm not used to Russian food and cheese was the only thing I would eat. She said finished because they didn't expect more guests that day. It's not my problem if hotel has more guests they should give good breakfast for everybody. It looks like who arrives early eats who arrives late doesn't eat? After few minutes arguing they finally bring few slices of cheese for me. This hotel was a nightmare for me. Another day I was passing by reception and I saw some english guests complaining for same thing. they were sending them to the other building and they were doing that with everybody.
Needs an updat
Starting with the positives - it’s close to a metro station and they allowed an early check in. The rest of our stay was fairly ordinary. Room doesn’t have aircon or a fan. Reception staff is very Russian, without any idea about customer service. Free breakfast is a waste of time, we had it on day one and then chose to eat elsewhere. Rooms are ok size. Beds are really worn.
Good for the price
Breakfast is between bad and ok, depends on your habits. Rooms do their job and you get what you pay, it’s a few metro stations from the red square and the main attractions there are cafes and markets not so far. No regrets, it was good. We paid 70 EUR per night on the World Cup with bathroom in the room.
