Very well located hotel. Kind and competent staff. Room spacious but not very new, needs to be renovated. Breakfast nothing to complaint.Nice little pool. Bathrobes, on the other hand are made for small people.
For the price it's OK.
Lovely hotel, peaceful and quiet

This hotel is only about 15 minutes away from Chiang Mai airport and the taxi’s outside the airport charge a set 150 baht to the hotel (very cheap).
The grounds of the hotel are stunning, very peaceful, quiet and traditional Thai. Check in was fairly easy and we were allowed straight to our room although we arrived an hour or so before check in time. The hotel is quiet and does not have too many rooms from what i understand which is nice as its never busy with people.
The room was spacious and has everything you would need although because the hotel is quite traditional there were small gaps where the window closed so the air con was losing coolness from the room.
We found the breakfast to be very basic, so much so we would only have some toast on a morning which was disappointing, although in the hotels defence the breakfast was catered more for traditional Thai breakfast.
We were out on an excursion for 15 hours one day and decided just to eat at the restaurant on the front of the hotel when we got back about 21:30. The food was terrible, microwaved, warmed up and tasted as such.
The pool is small but pleasant, we didn’t get chance to use the pool although every time we passed it (even from early in a morning) people had claimed the sunbeds (approx 8-10 beds only) with their towels.
Overall this is a lovely hotel to stay in, but not great to eat in. Its in the middle square of Chiang Mai so very accessible to wherever you want to be with plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants in walking distance. Taxi’s are easy to pick up outside the hotel and have a set price of 30 baht per person anywhere within the Chiang Mai square and prices agreed for anywhere else prior to getting in.
Beautiful and comfortable

This hotel is very beautiful. Lots of great decorations. Nice pool. Right in the middle of the old city so within walking distance of lots of stuff. The rooms are very comfortable. Nice bed and shower stall and a soaking tub. The breakfast is included and is the best breakfast we have had in Thailand thus far. Also some legit Indian restaurants near by. There is a koi pond to eat breakfast by.

Didn’t get to stay here too long due to a “friends” itinerary however I stayed here long enough that I was very happy with the room and accommodation that I would return and stay here again and recommend to others. Even though we were in one of the rooms next to the main road, so on the first night we could hear the music from the clubs just down the road however with the air conditioning on it soon drowned out the noise. We had come across one cockroach in our room but this had no negative impact on the accommodation as we stayed in a skyscraper hotel in Bangkok and there was a cockroach running around the bar/smoking area there. Just catch and release if you can or report it to reception to have them deal with it.
Breakfast was good, usual Thai buffet breakfast experience but very tasty dishes on offer.
If I’m ever in Chiang Mae again I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us and thank you for looking after our belongings whilst we explored the local area!
Peaceful home base in Old City

The courtyard is a beautiful and peaceful escape from the city, the staff are really helpful and kind, and the rooms are comfortable. The shower in our room was pretty small and there wasn’t a place to put toiletries or soap. Not a big deal, just a minor inconvenience.
