Friendly hotel close by the fairgrounds

I used the hotel together with a colleague and was surprised to find a pretty good hotel for what can be seen a ‘budget’. The hotelbuilding must date back from the 1970s, however, it has been refurbished and is in good shape. You find all the amenities you may need, there is a fitness area, meeting rooms, a very well sorted breakfast and a cosy dining restaurant in typical Bavarian style. We came with our car and found enough parking lots around the building. It is worth considering having dinner or lunch in the Ludwig Stuberl.
Small rooms best for those who just need a clean comfortable place to sleep

Hotel seems to have been recently taken over. Rooms are old, but clean. Staff are very friendly and as usual in big German cities, very proficient in several languages. This is a quiet residential neighborhood so not a lot on offer nearby. However, only a 10 minute walk to bus and underground and city center is a 10 minute ride.

A varied breakfast menu, as well as a dinner restaurant, conference and banquet facilities onsite. Extremely helpful staff, addressing the guest preferences efficiently. Fabian Falzboden, Operations Manager demonstrates friendly competence, high professionalism and team leadership, adequate for the modern hospitality industry.
Overall, traveling on business and pleasure, we liked this hotel for its location, value for money, high quality service.
Heating was not working, not everything was clean

The shower was quite old and there were some spider webbs, moist stains on the walls and dust at the air ventilation. I think they fixed the floor very fast recently because there was some wood-look vynyl on it. It did not look like a proper job. The tiles were crooked and not put on straight. The toilet was scratched and was very old. They should renovate the bathroom completely.
The room itself was very basic and the heating did not work. The window had not been closed properly so it was quite cold when I entered. There is carpet on the floor and it had quite some stains. The TV had a very bright blue light on standby so I unplugged it during the night. The room did have a water cooker which is nice.
Breakfast was okay, a lot of choice.
It was about 138 euros for 1 night. I have stayed in way better hotels for much cheaper. So I think it is not a very good deal.
