Budget hotel, friendly service.

Located in a quiet backyard, this hotel is a small, budget oriented accomodation. Their rooms are functional, spotless clean, but shows some wear and tear here and there. Rooms have only a shower en-suite (at least my room was like this) toilets are shared. Bed was too soft to my taste. Breakfast was okay, with a selection of cold cuts, cheese, fruits, cereals and sweets, scrambled eggs. Good coffee, which is big plus to me. Staff were friendly and smiling. Although the hotel is quite far from the city center, it's not difficult to get there by public transport, the main train station is only 20 mins. All in all, good value!
Very good little pension in a challenging location

We stayed three nights at the Koberl, and it was a very good value for the moderate cost. The room was comfortable and clean, plenty of room for luggage and clothes. We had a table and 2 chairs, a sink in the room and a small refrigerator. The shower room and toilet were down the hall, which was a small inconvenience (which we were prepared for), but we never had to wait or even encountered anyone else. We paid €5 for breakfast each day, and it was excellent! There was a wide variety of options, with breads, meat, cheese, cereal, yogurt, fruit, pastries, coffee and tea. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. The downside, other than not having ensuite bathrooms, was the location, on a busy street, but tucked away behind an auto repair shop. We had to walk through the car park to get to the hotel. But there was a small garden area in front of it, and it looked charming aside from being across this retail business area. It is located close to the metro line and convenient in that way. At night, being off the street and businesses closed, it was quiet. Despite the inconveniences, I would stay there again and I rated it above average because of the great service.
