This was a convenient stop right off the interstate with a large room, good linens, comfortable bed and very clean bathroom. Quiet too. All shops and restaurants are less than 10 min away, no matter what part of town you’re coming from. It was a good option for a good rest when passing through.
stayed 2 nights on July 7, 8

We had 2 rooms next to each other. The rooms were good, AC worked and ran all the time due to the heat outside. We had 2 queen beds a little on the hard side but overall ok. They advertise full hot breakfast but give you a small blueberry or banana muffin and a sausage egg muffin to heat up in your room, with juice and coffee. The swimming pool is inside and is nice but on the cold side. The hot tub was nice but the jets don't work. You have to get a key card at the front desk to access the pool. Room cards don't work. In the 3 days we were there we had to get our room cards redone 5 times because they quit working. Areas around the hotel are starting to show their age. The large garbage cans in the back weren't emptied at all during our stay and were full to overflowing. They have a small workout room upstairs with 1 treadmill, stepping machine and a few weights. Overall it is an OK hotel to stay in.

We have stayed here for years and have loved it! It has always been a good value for the price. We have family in the area and it has been a great jumping-off place for sight-seeing at national parks, snow skiing, hiking, etc.
However, a recent 3-night stay there was not enjoyable and, in fact, quite unacceptable. While our room itself was clean and comfortable, the hotel seemed neglected now--locks didn't work, shrubbery out front needed trimming and there was absolutely no follow-through on getting service from the front desk, including for a non-working bedside telephone and requests for housekeeping services and a bath mat for a very slippery tub. There must have been a change in ownership or management or something since we stayed there last. Their professional, friendly spirit is gone.
Also, there is NO LONGER a hot breakfast offered. We got lovely hot breakfasts at every other hotel we visited in Wyoming, Idaho and Utah this summer. The excuse for everything we found lacking here was always "Covid."
I am embarrassed that I recommended this hotel to friends who stayed there the same weekend. They had a similar negative experience. I will not stay there again, especially when there are 4 other nice hotels within 3 minutes of this one. It's a great area of town for restaurants, shopping, movies, fast food, etc. Shop around.
Choice Hotel Quality Control definitely needs to check on this hotel. It is not a good representative of their chain.
Lower your expectations.

Imagine a hotel that was built more than 20 years ago, from cheap materials, it is really a motel, and isn’t really well-maintained. That’s this place. It blows my mind to go to travelers choice award for 2020. It is not my choice.
Here’s the good. The first room I went into had sticky stuff all over the table and two Band-Aids stuck to the remote control. I walked the remote control into the lobby and showed them to the front desk. The staff was appropriately dismayed and put me in a new room. The new room was a little better than the old one, but still it’s a pretty dingy place. The beds are fine, they don’t look like they’re super clean, but in the end it was a comfortable place to stay. The TV worked, the water was warm, and all in all things were great.
Here’s the bad. This is just an old hotel that’s been beat the heck. So many things look bad when you walk in that you kind of are grossed out. Things like the wood on the door trim is being eaten away by water in time. Repairs need to be done on Fossetts and hardware. Tiny pillows, and really just a lack of attention to detail. Things just weren’t that clean and weren’t that good. They also took advantage of Covid being a thing not to serve a hot breakfast which I understand. However there was no breakfast. Breakfast went from 6 to 9, and I walked in the lobby at 8:40 to try to get some fruit. Nothing. Not even juice.
In the end I don’t think this is a four-star hotel or a three star hotel or even maybe a two star hotel. Well it’s not the end of the world and people were shot in the hotel, it is definitely not a place I’m going to go after again.

We arrived at a few minutes after 3 pm since check in is at 3. They told us our room wouldnt be ready until 3:30. We had an engagement at 4 pm that we needed to get ready for, so we ran to get a bite to eat and returned at 3:30. Our room was ready. We ran in, got ready for our engagement and left just before 4 pm. I had noticed there was a sign in the lobby that said they had a flood, so amenities were closed -- pool, hot tub, fitness, etc. We were disappointed because we hoped to relax in the hot tub at the end of the night. Since we knew the pool was closed, we got a quick bite to eat after our engagement and came back to the hotel around 10. By the time, we got changed and ready for bed, it was around 10:45. We tried to turn on the TV and it didn't work. We called the front desk and the sweet young lady came up to try to help us. She could not get it to work, so no TV, no pool, no hot tub. The next morning we got up and I showered. The tub filled up with water and would not drain. YUCK. Needless to say, we were disappointed. The sweet girl who tried to fix our TV offered us a 10% discount for the inconvenience. When I spoke to the front desk clerk in the morning, she had nothing to say.
