The rooms were dirty and old. I can deal with old but dirty is not acceptable. There were old pizza boxes left in oven. Rugs are ripped, chairs are torn, and last but not least ants all over stove. Not one hallway was vacuumed the entire week of our stay. As for breakfast what a waste prepackaged egg sandwiches was the only hot thing served, cereal and yogurt avail. The pool is closed never to reopen. As far as room services go take your own towels to desk to get clean ones, no trash pick up put it outside of door. They allow pets in every room no dedicated rooms for pets, so have no allergies or breathing problems.
Go somewhere else not here.
Dirty and zero customer service

This is my 4th or 5th stay at this property in the last year. First time in 2020, the management if this hotel offered me marrriott points for hair, spit, and urine in the shower and on the walls of the bathroom.
Because I am an elite Marriott member and because this is a business trip, and this hotel is a short distance to my destination, I keep coming back. But I promise you, never again.
I checked in yesterday and it was like a twilight zone. Same exact condition of the room as in 2020. Pictures attached. They didn’t even offer me a different room. Today when I spoke to a manager, Bahkeem, not only he didn’t apologize, when I showed him the pictures he was making excuses and said “it is, what it is”.
I understand that Marriott properties are owned by individual owners, but not taking care of the brand, especially that every time you come into the room, the first thing you see on TV is the clip, on how sanitized and cleanliness is important during COVID. Just because they wear masks and still keep their disgusting, microwave, market kitchen closed, nothing changed. Very disappointing.
Smelly & Bad TV

When we entered the hotel it had an odd smell. On the second floor the odor was like dirty socks. We asked to have a different room and checked that out, on the same floor and it was just as bad. The tv programming was terrible. Every channel except CBS and PBS had extremely old programming and game shows. I mean 20+ yr old shows. No CNN, Fox News or other normal cable channels. This is not typical of Residence Inn quality.
Landscaping is a disaster

I stay at Marriotts all the time and am always impressed with the care they take of their hotels.
So I was shocked to see that at this Residence Inn, it looks like they haven’t cut the grass since winter.
An embarrassment for Marriott.

Burnt popcorn smell

Our first stay here and the first thing we noticed was the poor landscaping with weeds. Next we were upgraded but to a room with a terrible burnt popcorn smell from the prior guest. Since we had a commitment we did not change rooms but asked housekeeping to deodorize. Sadly this did not help. I guess that also explains the dirty carpet at the rear entrance. Upon checkout the front desk graciously comped us points but that would not make us return. Housekeeping needs alot of attention.
